If you want to roll your sleeves up a bit, you can consider lubing the stabilizers to reduce the friction and rattle.

This method involves using the hairdryer to heat up the glue underneath the mouse feet. Once the glue has been heated long enough, use a spudger (a flat plastic tool with a sharp end) or a knife to scrape underneath the feet to peel them off — be careful if using a knife! The board itself is very pretty, I'm honestly really impressed by the look and feel of it. I do wish I had bought one that had a separate row for the F1 keys (maybe even the number pad, but hey maybe future me will be another!), so it's been a bit weird to get to used to. When lit up this board is gorgeous. I use the twinkle? led setting. It's very dim and glowy, kinda magical really. :)The logo and model name are printed on the front side of the keyboard in a unique way that compliments the rest of the design. Other than that, there is nothing super special about the stabilizers on the keyboard, but they are better than most gaming keyboards out there. The keycaps also have sub-legends written on the front that correspond to each of the functions available on the lower layer. This is very helpful for when you want to access these commands. When you're looking to switch out your skates, you’ll need to choose replacements that fit your specific model of mouse due to each mouse having a different layout on its base where the skates are installed. The exception being brands who use the same mouse chassis for multiple models, but that will be mentioned on the skates product description. A super unique functionality is that you’re able to play a few games on the keyboard itself. There is an option to play minesweeper or a gambling style game. If you’re interested, I recommend trying it out.

I really want to love this keyboard but I just don't. Gave it a week or two of use before I swapped it out for another board. Coming in a high-quality PBT double-shot plastic design, these are longer-lasting than the usual keycaps that you’ll find on your old crusty Dell keyboard. Once you have removed all the old skates from the base your mouse, give the surface a clean by using rubbing alcohol (Isopropyl). This will remove any excess adhesive that may still be present. Leave the mouse to dry, and then it's time to apply the new ones.

If you’re a fan of RGB lighting, you can cycle through the different preset options and even customize your own options. While being a little overwhelming at first, the keyboard offers a ton of functionality through the firmware. No software required. If you’re a coder that uses ` a lot (for markdown, etc.), it’ll take a little getting used to hitting the Fn-key every time. Shift+Esc defaults to ~, so it shouldn’t be an issue for POSIX users that will frequently try to “cd ~”. This is a killer first mechanical keyboard. I love it, but there is 2 major flaws. I don't want to give it a 3 star because it may just be my board, but even then I am still satisfied.

A wireless connection would be convenient, however, for portability and using the keyboard when not at your desk. Overall, for the price I highly recommend this keyboard, and recommend the Silent Reds if you are looking for a quieter typing experience. Finally, once the grip tape is properly applied, use a sharp hobby knife or scissors to trim any excess grip tape from around the edges of your mouse. Trimming the edges gives your mouse a clean and finished look.Simply follow the steps in the user manual to change up the options. The macro programming is a very powerful aspect of this keyboard and offers a lot in terms of a better user experience. The blue accent keycaps let you put the finishing touch on the design – making for one of the coolest looking prebuilt keyboards on the market. These keycaps are slightly textured and allow the RGB lighting to shine through the legends in a way that looks great. Anyways, gaming via a wireless connection is not always recommended, especially in competitive online games.

The macro programmablity lets you customize certain shortcuts and key combinations to whatever key you want. The debounce time refers to how long the keyboard waits before sending another signal. Mechanical keyboards typically have a debounce time of 10ms, but your able to drop it down to 5ms if you choose to do so. Once you have your replacement mouse skates in hand, it's now time to remove your old ones from the base of the mouse. There are a few different methods to do this, but we’ll cover the main, most reliable method (in our opinion):Keyboard: I debated this keyboard for a while, I was using a magic keyboard for work and a decade old Razer with blue switches that I just couldn't stand anymore (so loud). I finally pulled the trigger and I'm super happy about it. The small form factor is incredible; my desk feels more organized and the clean look ties the aesthetic of my work desk together. The feel of these PBT keys is amazing as well - it's like typing on legos. It’s a fantastic little keyboard. The 65% form-factor is a great tradeoff between 60% and TKL. It’s about as small as most people can go without any difficulties of adjusting to life without arrow-keys. Extra colored keycaps: Additional accent keycaps in blue.
