Bubble Gum was accidentally discovered by the Fleer Chewing Gum Company in 1928, when they were experimenting with new gum recipes. The sweetgum ‘Lane Roberts’ is an elegant deciduous landscaping tree suitable for small to medium-sized landscapes. This remained the dominant brand of bubble gum until after WWII, when Bazooka bubble gum entered the market.
