Don't Say It! Free is a fun and exciting party game where players take turns in their team to describe and guess words and the team that describes and guesses the most words wins!

Similar to the famous game of word description without saying "banned" words, this game is so much fun for everyone in the class! It helps students think carefully about word choice, and is especially valuable for ESL students as they engage in this interactive way to develop their vocabulary. If the player is able to get his/her team to guess the main word and there's still time left, they pull out the guessed card and start playing using the new main word and forbidden words on the second card. Game play continues in this way until the buzzer sounds. All of our Twinkl resources are created by teachers like you, so you can be sure they are engaging in the classroom and follow the curriculum.This version focuses on nouns and verbs, and includes 72 playing cards. I've also included covers for the cards--If you choose to laminate them this will make them a bit sturdier. Also included is a "How to Play" sheet for students. This game is great for small groups of 4-6 students, but would also be perfect for Fun Friday or as a warm up activity for the entire class. After 60 seconds the buzzer will give one final long beep.
