Hold the bottle or dropper over your eye, look up, and allow 1 drop to fall into your lower eyelid. This medicine should not be used if you are allergic to one or any of its ingredients. Please inform your doctor or pharmacist if you have previously experienced such an allergy. Uncommon: Lacrimation increased, vision blurred, eye discharge, eyelid margin crusting and/or medication residue, foreign body sensation in eye, ocular hyperemia, visual impairment. Carmellose sodium comes in a bottle with an eye dropper, or as a box of single-dose droppers. The single-dose droppers do not contain preservatives. How to use the eye drops There are no other eye drops that contain both carmellose sodium and glycerol as the active ingredients.

You or your doctor can also report adverse events or quality issues to the FDA’s MedWatch Adverse Event Reporting program.After administration, in rare cases, a slight temporary blurring of vision may be observed due to the viscosity of the solution. It is therefore advisable to wait for a few seconds before any activity that requires clear vision.
