This flanker is very different from the original, one of those moments when you're like, 'why is this even a flanker?' I just want to point out something about how this was initially marketed. Eternity was introduced in the late 80s, so it maintains that "everything but the kitchen sink" approach used to create the big and bold creations one associates with that decade. It followed the great success of Obsession, which as the name suggests, was all about marketing it as a passionate, dangerous perfume of, well, obsession.

The name is Moment but I think this should have been the original Eternity because I feel like this scent has no era and it has super intense sillage and longevity. Inspired by a diamond wedding band inscribed with the single word: ETERNITY for women, this modern floral perfume is Calvin Klein's tribute to enduring romance. After this horrible endless snow filled overly cold winter, a bit of spring is happening today, and Eternity Moment fits the bill perfectly for me right at this "moment"! Gals at my dentist's office complimented me on this, said it was so nice. Eternity was one of those scents that immediately felt familiar, even though I am sure I had never smelled it before. At first whiff, I get the spice, clove to be precise, even if there is no clove listed. Maybe it is the carnation? It is crisp and clean, and doesn’t feel warm - yet. Slowly but surely, the bouquet of flowers come into play - vibrant, almost sparkling. Like dew soaked blooms in a cold winter morning. The glitter and shine never leaves the scent - but instead mellows down because of heliotrope, musk and sandalwood, while amber makes it warm. Despite that this doesn’t turn creamy or lotion like. It retains its soapy freshness, like someone fresh out of shower. Something about it reminds me of L’eau D’Issey but while L’eau D’Issey has that signature melon note that people either love or hate that makes it sweet, this one retains its clean green scent with very little sweetness. a frech.. bright.. opulent ..sensual.. floral..a beautiful full.. vibrant.. floral..a floral that actually lasts and is still clean.. and bright.. and wonderful..oh by the way this review is coming from someone who doesn't usually use florals ..lately i ve been having a change of heart..i ve been craving some brighter.. fresher.. florals..eternity.. moment is epmitimy of sophisticated clean fresh bright overly sensuous florals..it also lasts ..its hard for me to describe florals..but all i can say is that its an uplifting.. gorgeous.. scent.. as if it takes you to the garden of Eden.. its so full.. almost velvety.. its almost deep.. and yet fluffy.. and harmonious...it sings ..its still crisp.. still holds time.. within a moment of being.. its eternal in a way.. its not that full of carnations.. as in the original.. this eternity moment is full of pink girl y yet feminine.. and sensual ..and beautiful accords of lush garden flowers... as if u r walking in spring in an English rose floral garden.. with some tart berries.. raspberry.. guava.. litchi .. and a hint of cut grass..light white crisp clean musk.. and an eternal feeling of bliss and comfort a truly mesmerising scent...

I see a beautiful, flower adorned swinging bench in a clearing in a dense and beautiful forest with a slight refreshing breeze carrying this fragrance in the air. There’s a quote by Joanna Newsom about her own marriage that I feel sums up the concept of this fragrance perfectly: I grew up in a small town in the 90’s, and while the rest of the world was swimming in a cloud of clean musks and boisterous florals, my corner of space didn’t have access to any of it. Once in a while, you would come across someone wearing “scent” though - we didn’t call it perfume. Sometimes it would be pretty and soft, but most of the times it would be loud and offensive. Eternity embodies this woman totally for me. The sharp green and spicy start (like you sprinkled loads of cloves and pepper on an already edgy carnation) precedes a very beautiful floral heart and a warm much softer base. Amazing perseverance and personality.

I used to wear Eternity Moment a few years ago but I couldn’t really remember it other than it is supposed to be a fresh floral and I had liked it. But on wearing it today, I can say it’s not really fresh at all. I wouldn’t call it aquatic either unless by taking a full on floral and then watering it down, you could call it aquatic. Despite all the fruit notes that are supposed to be there, I get none. The bottle is elegant. But yes. It's floral. Then fruity. NOT a linear perfume. Changes a lot from initial spray to skin-scent dry down. This is a spring/early summer fragrance that is very fresh, slightly woody and is reminiscent of blush coloured flowers (the peonies etc). A spring wedding fragrance that has echoes of the original classic, but not as big in personality, this will last the whole day and not be offensive or overpowering. It has presence, but it is respectful and inoffensive. I'd wear this to a high tea on weekend for sure! You HAVE to let it sit for like, 10-15 minutes before it really unfolds its profile to you. I must say, it doesn't hit my nose the way I expected it to by reading the notes but it sure is interesting. I have to say, I really wasn’t expecting to love this one as much as I do. I own both the original Eternity and Eternity Now. I love them both so I didn’t think I needed this one. I was shopping in Marshall’s one day when I saw a few one ounce bottles and thought what the hell? I was also surprised to see this one period because I thought it had been discontinued years ago. I spritzed it on and thought basically what everyone else is saying here which is hmmmm, nice! Pretty generic and basic but nice! After an hour went by though, I started getting whiffs of this deeply rosy, woody sensual scent. Like the original, this one definitely needs time to develop.

A hymn to love, Eternity opens with notes of mandarin and freesia then delivers a bouquet of beautiful flowers: lily of the valley, violet and spicy carnation. Gentle sandalwood lingers in the dry down. First spray and it reminded me of another perfume I have already had and enjoyed: of course the classy EA 5 Avenue, the floral vibe is almost like EA but the difference is that EA stays floral all the way while this one has an inconfondable fruity vibe given by litchi and the leading floral note is peony. Also the fruity part I find it similar to Versace Bright Crystal only that BC is more girlish and watery while EM is more adult. I think if 5 Avenue and Bright Crystal blended together the result would be Eternity Moment. To me during the first 5 minutes this perfume is a typical floral but then the fruity notes start to appear especially litchi and raspberry even though the never fully take the stage. In the drydown becomes a creamy floral so not fresh or aquatic. Eternity Moment's worst aspect is the fact that it's not the most recognizable perfume ever. Far away from that, actually. Many find it boring, uninteresting and "already seen". I can understand their point of view, however, I still think this is far more than just a decent perfume: it's very confortable, uncomplicated, and the kind of scent that just feels happy. I find this scent to be likeable, and adorable: it's the kind of scent that makes us want to cuddle, at home. It also is a great romantic scent, and I can also see it as a great office perfume. Its longevity is more than decent and the sillage moderate-high in the first hours, and then moderate.

I can hand-on-heart say, that as a flanker, this beauty is better than the original, I think lovers of Eternity will probably not like this.

Reedited my previous review, as I think it didn't do this one justice. This is a wonderful scent, sweet, floral, clean yet so alluring that it's a pity people don't praise it for what it is. Very loved in Europe, especially on European YouTube channels (Italian mostly).

Anyway...this isn't anything incredibly remarkable. However...it's very clean and versatile. One of the first words that comes to mind when I smell this is "friendly." It's a SUPER friendly, pretty perfume that has a lot of versatility in terms of age. I can see a 15 year old wearing this as well as a 40 year old. EternityforWomenAir. An uplifting, floral scent with grapefruit oil and sky of the sky accord. Cedarwood and musk tones add sexiness and seduction.
