When i first started reading this book i thought it would be a good read. It had good writing, promising worldbuilding and some kind of intriguing characters with intense dynamic but as i went on reading i realized that the author is horrible at executing what i believed would be delivered at first. One For My Enemy is a tale of ambition, sacrifice and legacy that’s high on Shakespearian level drama, betrayal, heartbreak and bittersweet insta-love (which, unusually, actually works). With forbidden romance, witchy politics and complicated family dynamics, it’s the perfect recipe for a beautiful tragedy. Another sensation from Blake.
