These limited sets are somewhat of an investment, so I personally would rather know if there is a production schedule issue, rather than not know at all what’s going on, particularly on the 60th Anniversary year of Doctor Who. I think you will find they did Horns of Nimons on the cheap so could spend more money on Shada which backfired because of the strike. Alpha Centauri is hilariously bizarre and it’s great to see the Ice Warriors in colour for the first time. Including Australian interviews with Peter Davison and Janet Fielding shot during production of this season. Seven new episodes with Peter Davison, Colin Baker (The Doctor), Sylvester McCoy (The Doctor), Sarah Sutton, Janet Fielding, Mark Strickson, Katy Maning (Jo) and Sophie Aldred (Ace).

I can settle for two sets a year, considering the amount of work that goes into these sets I’m happy to wait for the perfect product to be released. If they bring the standard editions up then that would really kill the Limited Editions and they need the Limiteds to sell well or they will kill the whole range.A chap who used to work for the BBC and now works for the Radio Times commented on it and stated that its highly unlikely this collection will ever be completed due to the increasing costs of production and the diminishing market. These come in a standard 22mm-thick Bluray case designed to accommodate the number of discs in the set with a cover showing the clean artwork and cardboard slipcase showing the logos and text. There are lots of wonderful stories and insights from the filming of Season 9 which made it an enjoyable watch. Occasionally, material from the standalone DVD releases of serials is moved to a particular season release if it is deemed a more appropriate fit. Tom Baker’s era mixes the best of the 70’s and 80’s in a perfect blend of Action, Comedy, Drama, Fantasy, Gothic and traditional Horror, Satire, and Science fiction. I also suggested a documentary series taking a retrospective look at the best guest performances in Doctor Who, e.I was just saying maybe they were in the process of securing one so they were willing to wait an extra month or so. Behind the disc tray is an image of the face of the relevant Doctor from the Title Sequence for that particular Season (with the exception of the First Doctor which uses a publicity Shot as his era didn't have his Face in the Titles) which can be seen by removing the last disc.
