EASYJoint brush-in patio grout , is a really simple, fast and DIY friendly way to fill the joints in paving slabs and flagstones. Market-leading EASYJoint is ideal for all types of paving such as natural stone, limestone, porcelain, sandstone, Yorkstone, Indian Stone, granite setts and concrete flags. Once the water drains out of it, curing will start immediately, and it should get hard in 12-24 hours afterward. EASYJoint is the original sweep-in all-weather jointing compound and still the best truly "All Weather Paving Joint Compound". Do not be fooled by other paving jointing compounds making similar claims. Using small quantities of EASYJoint, simultaneously spread and wash the compound across the surface using a light jet of water and a broom/squeegee, allowing it to fall into the joints

Maintain the Width of Joint Throughout. Maintain at least a 3mm gap width throughout the depth of the paving material. Never have this type of paving butted together. See photograph. Clean out the old jointing product completely to create the correct joint size (see information under the ‘Joints’ section). Do not use EASYJoint if the correct and fully clean joint size cannot be obtained.

Continuously Wash the Paving. The hose operator should alternate between following the sweeper to aid washing the compound into the joints and moving ahead of him/her so that the paving is always wet. This is particularly important in warm/hot weather conditions. The same rules apply when working with porcelain paving tiles as with working with stone or concrete. The base on which the porcelain is laid MUST BE PERMEABLE. Yes, you can pressure wash your patio, but you should use a fan tip nozzle and stay at least 6″ away, so it doesn’t damage the pavers. No, rain won’t matter. Sand is heavier than water and when it is in the joint it will stay there unless you have a torrent of water coming off of a roof that by sheer force is pounding it out of the joint. Some concrete paving is made in moulds and has chamfered edges creating a 'V' shaped joint between two paving slabs, wider at the top than at the bottom. This gap shape can be the most challenging to work with and we recommend you carefully follow the instructions below.

Yes, theoretically EASYJoint can be used below 3 degrees down to freezing conditions, however in these conditions, the use of lots of water becomes more difficult with a greater risk of staining. Where possible avoid using below 3 degrees, use with caution. Does EASYJoint stain paving slabs? Additionally, ensure the project has a suitable “fall” to allow surface water to drain away. Base Mix Deliveries are made between 8.00am – 5.00pm Monday – Friday although we will give you as much notice as possible for early/late deliveries. Both the bedding and sub-base must be permeable. When using a mortar bedding mix, this should be no stronger than 6:1 (sharp sand: cement). Be careful when using add-mixtures such as SBR or PVA as these can seriously affect the permeability of a mortar mix. Suitable for Light Vehicular Use On Dense Grade Projects. (For permeable driveway installs Refer to EASYJoint Pro) Less water is needed when applying EASYJoint to porcelain paving, as there is little risk of residue staining. You will find that a small amount of water, added to form it into a slurry, will make it easier to fill the joints properly. When applying to porcelain, to ensure an effective joint, the operator MUST strike the joint off, to compact the grout fully. Compaction forces out air and water which helps the joint harden faster.
