I have been lurking for a while and appreciated the info on here so decided to put out my first post. Some context first .. CellMapper uses crowd sourced data so not always 100% accurate on position but pretty good in the whole.

I bought the CPE Pro 2 to see if this improved my connection and to also test my VF sim. Firstly the VF sim seems to be very laggy in comparison to 3 signal (10's of ms verses 100's of ms!) which isn't what I'm looking for obviously. Though am aware that VF have just got planning for a new 5G tower locally, so must still be rolling out? Maximum size for each attachment is 10MB (rar, jpg, zip, pdf, war, txt, docx, doc, png, mp3, mp4, xls, xlsx, gif, jpeg are supported). Tuetut 4G-taajuudet: 2100 MHz, 1800 MHz, 850 MHz, 2600 MHz, 900 MHz, 850 MHz (Japani), 850 MHz (Japani), 800 MHz, 700 MHz, 1500 MHz, 2000 MHz, 2600 MHz, 1900 MHz, 2300 MHz, 2500 MHz, 3500 MHz, 3700 MHz (B1/3/5/7/8/18/19/20/28/32/34/38/39/40/41/42/43)photos maximum, each photo's size should be less than 10MB (bmp, jpg, png, gif, and jpeg are supported) I think mine is unbranded - it certainly doesn't have any provider names splashed through the UI like yours. I got it 2nd hand so it could be originally supplied by Vodafone, assuming they don't actually touching within the software. Also added is the unhiding of the hidden DNS server override so you can set your own DNS entries which is disabled for some reason by default.

I do have the SMS section and the UI title is just 'Mobile Broadband' for me, and I think my default WiFi network name was in the format 'Huawei_#####'.

Conspicuously, the newest router has again increased significantly in weight.While the first model of 2017 still came with a slim 366 grams, the Gigacube CAT19 from the beginning of 2019 already weighed 620 grams.The Gigacube 5G brings it now to stately 765 grams on the scales and has thus more than doubled to the first version. The external antenna connections are for 5G only so you could try setting the antenna to external with nothing connected which might nobble just the 5G as a test. For me, changing bands doesn’t seem to make much difference but I would be interested to know if anyone has any experience with the effects of the different bands and frequencies etc as I have a few questions - There seems to be some settings missing on my new Huawui 5G router. Does anyone know of any reliable firmware sources and some descriptions to load on? Maximum size for each attachment is 10MB (rar,jpg,zip,pdf,war,txt,docx,doc,png,mp3,mp4,xls,xlsx,gif,jpeg are supported). We are in a rural location and get messy 5G signal, but believe we will get strong stable 4G. Unfortunately the 'Network Search Mode' is disabled. I've been trying to use your code / tool to force it onto a cell tower that doesn't have 5G, but it appears the two we can receive both transmit 5G.
