The problems here are great for absolute beginners. I believe this is one the best tactic book created as a first tactic book for beginner.Study the common pawn structures that result from your opening systems. Tactics Times 2 by Tim Brennan and Carson. The second version. It seems to have improved from the first volume wich was already a big hit. Also with 1001 problems, it seems very much suited for players up until 1600 ELO. AND it seems to have a good Epub format. Very readable on kindle. Not all of your winning positions will involve the endgame. Sometimes, you’ll be ahead by a piece or exchange in the middle game.
