Chlorhexidine is incompatible with certain ingredients of conventional toothpastes. For this reason, after using toothpaste to brush your teeth, you should rinse your mouth with water and wait five minutes before you use this spray. Or, use the spray at a different time of day to when you brush your teeth. The normal adult dose is appropriate for elderly patients and children of 12 years and over unless otherwise recommended by the dentist or the physician.
