Very intuitive I like how intuitive this slow cooker is trying to be, though I do wish it had more options for more customization. You have two options to choose from to cook; you can choose to schedule a meal or you can choose the manual option. The manual option is very much like a traditional slow cooker, you set the temperature you want it to cook at and how long you want it to cook. To schedule a meal, you select the time you want to eat, what you are cooking, and how much you are cooking; the slow cooker does the rest! The food type options are meat, poultry, soup and veggies and the weight options are more or less than 2 pounds. I would like to see more food options and a bit more range on weight. When you are using the schedule a meal option it will tell you the earliest time the meal can be done then you can add time to have the food done when you are ready to eat. The probe mode is the best option if you would like to cook a large portion of meat such as pork tenderloin, meat stew, or even pot roast. All you need to do is simply input your desired meat temperature and the device will change settings automatically to ‘warm’ once the desired temperature is reached. h2>

Why does this slow cooker require a battery? Doesn’t everything work by plugging it in? Can’t figure out what the battery is for

The recipe online doesn’t give details on using any particular functions as it just says the cooking time is two hours, so I manually set the timer. Despite my best efforts to eat an extraordinary amount of festive food, I had a lot of leftover turkey to get through. Many turkey sandwiches later, I thought I’d try making a Christmas casserole by adding the remaining meat to the slow cooker alongside vegetables and a tin of tomato.It also has programmable digital control that you can program cooking times from 30 minutes to a maximum of 20 hours as well as programmable time settings that accommodate different time constraints and cooking needs.
