Senior has tons of practical knowledge and deep insight on how to approach and fix common small recording studio mixes. The title is something of a misnomer because the advice and guidance contained are relevant to everyone involved in music engineering and production, at all levels and regardless of the size of the studio or its facilities. If you’re brand new to the mixing side of things, then indeed this whole book could contain hundreds of secrets. I recommend this book all the time to audio professionals who are looking for a good resource for their students, and I recommend it to any hearty bootstrapping project studio operator who wants to make the best use of his time and money while laying a strong foundation for his future development.

Where an advanced technique is not included the fundamental knowledge to understand it has nonetheless been provided.
