And on both what’s on the outside and the inside, 75315 Imperial Light Cruiser delivers. The unique, striking shape of the cruiser is perfectly captured in proportions and detail around the exterior, thanks to a slight Technic-frame construct on the inside. The all-grey colour scheme works against highlighting the subtle angles that have been recreated in the model, but it all still comes together effectively at the end as the reason why your eye so easily accepts the authentic nature of what’s in front of you. In this range, there were 24 minifigures released – two identical figures of the Mandalorian – so 23 distinct characters. (add 2 more from 75296 = 25 in total)

Cast a light against the darkness of the Empire inside the Imperial Light Cruiser, Grogu depends on it! We saw four out of seven sets feature female characters; and 5 out of 25 characters as definite females, including one storm trooper.There are some relatively new elements here, including the 3×3 curved quarter circle arch, whichmakes fro the front portion of the engines. The two outer engines are made using curved 8×4 simicircular panels. Panels are sloped over the rear of the ship, including the central engine. Transparent light blue radar dishes are attached to simulate the main engine jets. There is a little deviation from the source material here: there are 4 smaller engines between each of the main thrusters on screen. Not even including a hint of them feels a little thoughtless, but, on the other hand, gives you the opportunity to improve on the model with your own modifications. Bag 7 Corresponding with larger Imperial-class Star Destroyers, the Class 546 Cruiser is powered using three primary engines beside four supplemental engines. However, unlike classic Star Destroyers, these engines are relatively exposed and this vessel replicates their shape quite successfully. The dark bluish grey accents across the armour look appealing, in particular. Includes 5 LEGO Star Wars minifigures: The Mandalorian, Cara Dune, Fennec Shand, Moff Gideon and a new-for-August-2021 Dark Trooper As well as the plates, we also have a collection of sloped elements, going towards building up the conning tower, as well as the rear upper plating. Between the upper and lower plating, we set up some greeblling and front Imperial Light Cruiser is basically ripped off the screen, featuring Moff Gideon’s command ship and a star-studded cast of minifigures. In The Mandalorian it casts a menacing shape in the sky and in space, with intimidating size and power when coming up against Mando, Boba Fett and the others. For its use in Rebels too, it’s a now-familiar ship and a more than welcome addition to the LEGO Star Wars collection. Taking the same sort of piece count as has been afforded to larger Star Destroyer sets of the past also gives the design team more options in capturing the finer points of what is, by scale, a much smaller ship than those.A variation of the LEGO Minifigure baby, Grogu has appeared in 4 sets now, appearing the same each time. It is one of the most adorable minifigures I have ever seen, from the sand green rubbery head to the infant’s torso. While not unique, it is good to see it here. The Build The torso has the same printed details as the shoulder armour, which means that you could have the figure without the shoulder armour if you wish. The third figure is the first-ever minifigure of Fennec Shand. She has excellent torso and leg prints, a new double-sided face, and a new helmet that matches the in-universe design. Keepability: 4/5 – this set is worth keeping, especially for fans of the Mandalorian or Star Wars ships in general. It certainly looks good on display. And so it is complete. Overall I appreciate the look of the craft. The silhouette fits nicely, and the underlying technic elements in the conning tower provide a sturdy handle, improving the overall swooshability of the model. The tiny TIE fighters are gorgeous. One can be placed in the opening at the front, and pushed forwad. Unfortunately, this mechanism is only functional when the cabin lid is open. Innovation: 3.5/5 – nothing groundbreaking, but some good techniques for building the angles and reinforcing the bridge. Also included are a second appearance for Cara Dune, Grogu (as referred to on the box art and in the official set description, but Baby Yoda to you and I) and Din Djarin himself in Beskar armour, complete with Beskar spear as per his duel with Moff Gideon. Starship features bridge that doubles as handle for flying, 2 rotating turrets and hatch to access cabin Both arms are printed with Beskar armour detail which looks excellent, and is what makes this figure really stand out. It’s always nice to see arm printing on a Star Wars minifigure.

The selection of minifigures seen during this wave of LEGO® Star Wars sets has been remarkable, and the ones included in this set are no exception, although it is a shame that many of them are only included in the most expensive set of the wave.

I’m also not a fan of the exposed blue pins at the front, as they’re quite obvious from most angles. I wish LEGO included a couple more pieces to cover these up and preserve the uniform grey design.Our completed guns rotate on a turntable. The guns are loaded with transparent bright green spring missiles, which look a lot like the laser blasts used by the Empire. We start by building a central core for the lid. This bag also builds the starboard panel for the lid.
