One of the major critiques I've seen of this manga is that it's slow, but I think that's better than the "oh I like this person and we're together now" plot. A slow-burn MAKES SENSE here. Especially considering that Mikoto is going through emotions, she's never had the chance to experience before. It's very in character for her to take it slow and fully absorb what she's feeling. I like romance mangas where they realize eachother feeling earlier and do progression from there but here it's just woman realizing from chapter to chapter that there is something more going on than just "friends thing".
