We get answers about the boys pasts and how they came to be at the mercy of their parents, but at the same time more questions. the guys are all also supper mid characters who don't really have personalities except being hot and good in bed. However, I still cringe thinking about some of the weird insults she comes up with, which I’m guessing are supposed to sound more British seen as though she’s from London however, I’ve never heard anyone in the UK lower themselves to use these phrases. I’m not sure if the author is British, but if not then she definitely went over board when trying to make the main girl sound less American.

I skimmed this one super fast. Don’t get me wrong, I love a good spicy book but most (like 70%) of this book was smut and I got bored. I “read” it in an hour and didn’t miss any major plot points. What I COULDNT condone was the use of “Her Vagisty” when the FMC referred to her vagina. AND THE CRIME WASN’T COMMITTED JUST ONCE. OH NO, FRIENDS. THE ENTIRE. BOOK. The guys - oh these guys. They all have my heart as the darkness that their parents have woven around them threaten to drown them all. Only the light of Lilly’s love saves them as the twists and turns take a darker edge. I love how each of them didn’t break, they only become stronger and more cunning. After quite some time, the guys are able to go to Lily, and they rescue her and kill her uncle, who they found out wasn`t actually her uncle because he once was engaged to Lily`s mother. They get a confession from him that he killed her mother and she was trying to hide Lily her entire life because of him and the others from the corporation. Y'all seeing this more theme here right?! We also get more steam, more action, more mystery and more surprises. I know this review is actually kinda vauge (and has the word more in it an awful lot!) but I honestly don't want to spoil it.

We have Ash... who's the leader of the group and takes the longest to finally give in to his desire for his 'princess'. He's broken in so many ways and Lilly just wants to help him to heal. Even though she has her own healing to do. But she's really the light to Ash's darkness and they need each other desperately. Needless to say there's a lot of change and Lilly shows her strength of character by taking each new revelation as it comes. Of course, she's not superwoman so she has her wobbles. She is also a lot different to some recent females I've read about because of her cavalier attitude towards sex which begins almost instantly!

all in all this book felt like I was reading a wattpad book which was made out to have a plot but is just written to have smut and nothing else.the things they all say to each other made me want to throw my phone across a room several times and also made me scream out loud from how bad they were. We have Jax... The HUGE He-Man type who is gruff and violent. That is, of course, until it comes to his 'baby girl' who he would give up the world for. His tree trunk arms are perfect for keeping her safe. Lily is going through a lot in this book as she realizes that her mother`s best friend, Lexi, did not just abandon her because she did try to reach out to her but couldn`t in all the ways she tried. And the same thing goes for her mother`s boyfriend, who is kind of a father to Lily. They realized that her "uncle" was keeping her from them, and they knew the reason behind it. The story continues with the ending point from the previous book, where Lily was kidnapped, and the last person she spoke with was her uncle, who said the same thing that Julian said.

I went from being a happy, carefree, and comfortable London girl to moving across the pond and landing at the exclusive Highgate Preparatory Academy, a school for the kids of the rich and powerful, right before my senior year. Overall, I feel like if the writing was better, if the main girl was more likeable and had better fashion sense (oh my, her outfit choices are extremely questionable.) if there weren’t so many cringe worthy moments, and if the plot was easier to follow, then perhaps I would’ve given a better review.Released gave me a found family feel, especially with certain unalivings that happen in this book, Lilly and the knights clearly don’t need anyone else other than each other. All of these characters go on such a journey, all experiencing trauma and hell bent on revenge. The characters all go through so much trauma and hardships that it seemed almost impossible for them to get their happy ending but I'm so glad they did. Lots of inconsistencies with dates/birthdays/school timeframe/pregnancy timeline jumping from 12 weeks to then suddenly saying 16 a day later during an appointment. Was expecting it to be revealed it wasnt Lokis baby, but that never happened and realized it was just a writing error.
