There is angst and grovel in this second chance romance, which is really all I want when I read this trope! a love that was never supposed to happen - but when it does, it unleashes secrets that could destroy them both . It seems to be kismet that the two are not only living in the same city, but wind up being brought together in such a way.

A friend recommended that I give this author and story a go because it has a lot of angst and the love story was similar to Damien. Above the Arctic Circle, the sun never rises on the day of the winter solstice (usually around December 21). Blake lowered his head and trailed his lips down her neck until he reached the pulse fluttering beneath her skin like a trapped butterfly. Down and out on her luck , unemployed, hasn’t been in a relationship since Blake , and yet every guy who meets her, or sees her thinks she’s “hot”, yet can’t score a decent date or relationship .I'd imagine there'd be less animals with thick fur coats because it would be a hotter climate, maybe most animals would come out later on in the day when it's cooler. I have no problem if you liked this book, but I was disheartened by how much I didn't like it, considering I've enjoyed Ana's previous works. I've got a lot of religions brainstormed (worship the big fucking thing in the sky it's probably a God).

After listening to the first book of these two characters, meeting in college at aboard schooling for 1year. Sources variously attribute the phrase "the empire on which the sun never sets" to describe this empire to Charles V himself, the poet Ludovico Ariosto, or others. Weirdly, I feel like this book would read perfectly fine as a standalone but I still do recommend you read Blake and Farrah’s first story. I loved how much Blake loves Farrah (even though sometimes I was infuriated by his stupid actions) and the things he does for her. With Blake’s past, the relationship with his dad, the heartbreak of leaving Farrah, the realization of losing something precious and morning it before it even had a chance, parting ways with his childhood best friend with too much lose and sadness between them, and every horrible, painful, miserable thought to cross his mind, put into perspective the choices he made.After working hard on a project only to get passed over for a promotion due to nepotism and realising nothing is ever going to change, she decides to quit. She spends her days juggling mom-life, reading, blogging, planning date nights with her husband and working as a nurse. Check out exiting museums, marvel at the world’s strongest maelstrom Saltstraumen, travel back in time in Norway’s best-preserved seaside trading post at Kjerringøy, and hike the Børvasstindan mountain range.

The midnight sun experience might be even better on the dramatic islands of Senja, Ringvassøya, Kvaløya, though. However you choose to experience the Midnight Sun, this period in the far north is a very special time.It's clear that after five years, the love between Farrah and Blake still runs deep and hasn't waned at all.
