Regarding the weight, the tent is heavy with its 62.4 lb (28.3 kg). They have added wheels to its carry bag, and clearly you will need them. The size of the carry bag is 33.5 x 22.8 x 19.3 inches (85 x 58 x 49 cm). So it is bulky, but see again its size. The tent is nicely ventilated. There is a large vent on the rear side, one high vent is under the porch, and two high vents are above the side windows. There is one low vent on the side behind the sleeping area. All of them are visible in the pictures. HH fly sheet - withstands the most intense weather conditions. The tent and groundsheet seams are all fully taped. All the material used is fire retardent and tested to meet the EN 5912 European safety standard.

The Berghaus Air 400XL is an update on the previous Berghaus Air 4XL and 4.1XL models - it features more head height living space and a new blue colour scheme. The outer tent is made from a blue 70 denier fabric with a a 6000mm Hydrostatic head rating and all seams are taped. This is not a flimsy toy tent. It’s extremely waterproof and strong. Pump up each beam until the pressure gauge on the pump is in the green. The supplied pump is awesome and makes this really fast and easy. It takes approx 12 pumps for a beam to inflate – less than 1 minute for each. The shell floor is fully sewn-in bathtub style, with fully taped seams. The inner tent has yet another bathtub type floor, so two layers are in the sleeping area. They claim that the materials are fully fire-retardant and tested to the European EN 5912 safety standard. Ventilation Like the main living area, there is a single hanging point for a lantern. Putting it up and taking it downNote that you can also remove the inner tent and use the fully protected space under the shell as a single-room and single-layer tent. The doors & windows Mesh doors throughout keep insects away and adjustable curtains allow you to balance light levels night and day in the spacious lounge area. The bedroom is removable and comes with a divider that can split into two separate rooms. The air beams take minutes to inflate, and are even easier to deflate, meaning you can spend more time enjoying your weekend in the great outdoors.
