This book had me grinning like a fool the entire day. I couldn’t stop reading it, my goodness. After reading some heavy books recently, QuinnOak diaries was the perfect remedy. It gave everything I was looking for 😭🤌 Warning: this isn’t a perfect novel at all. I tend to rate a book on how it makes me feel. I’ve not had a good week and this book found me at the exact right time. If I had read it another day? It might’ve been four stars but this made me happy and it made me smile and it made me swoon and it made me forget all my problems for five hours while I read it. Holden and Phoenix had a failed one night stand. When Holden takes an interest in Phoenix’s best friend, Kason, the enemies vibes get worse. Pranks ensue on both ends, Phoenix trying to stop Holden from dating his best friend. It’s definitely messy and stupid. If you don’t like mess and these type of shenanigans then just don’t read it. But I found it fun so it worked for me. The push and pull between them was fun. The banter and the sexual chemistry was off the charts. But whereas iced out felt like ONLY sex to me, here the relationship felt real. Through their enemies relationship they got to know one another, their fears and hang ups and who they are as men, so when they finally got together it felt earned to me.

When they win their first game of the season the next day after a handful of losses, they're convinced that what happened in the bathroom had something to do with it. When you're a sportsman, your superstitions are law.. so they decide to test their theory with a repeat experience. Pray, tell me, when did we get to forever? They're in college and they're trying to be a couple, who said anything about forever? Those are some big words for a story that wasn't really put togehter in a way we'd actually be talking about forever already, it wasn't felt anywhere at all.

When the final conflict comes and Kason realises Phoenix and Holden are hooking up, it gets hilarious. I mean, that was so damn absurd, I was just laughing, it was funny, the story was botched already with losing its momentum in the second half, so of course the conflict was even more ridiculous. Recommend it for a light and quirky read, enternraing, but I would not reread it and not the best book either. Have a nice weekend everyone!! Enjoy your readings! 💕😜 About this weird love triangle, or whatever it was. It might be me, but I thought it would be done a little differently. If you don't have a problem or like, when the love interest tries to date/ hook up (no exclusively) with the other MCs bestie, calls him handsome, goes on a date, s*x-texts with him, kisses him or the bestie him and dances in everyone knows what way with him, you will probably like it. It ends with Holden catching feelings for Phoenix in the middle of the book, but everything I mentioned happens. So be aware, if you don't like it.

Especially not Coach or the team.”The story was about Holden, Oakley's bestie, who's a playboy, so he's going around having fun, doesn't hurt anyone, since everyone knows up front that he doesn't want anything serious with anyone, and Phoenix, who's from a wealthy family, has a younger adopted sister and is a really nice guy. He has a very co-dependent friendship with Kason since they were kids, since Kason's had a terrible childhood and spent the majority of time growing up with Phoenix at his home.
