A Family In The Moment (HD, 7 Mins.) - The last scene with the main family on the beach that was shot at the end of production got everyone emotional. The cast talk about this moment and show why it was such a great experience. with a famous filmmaker. M. Night also discusses how his relationship with his daughters kept him feeling "at home" during the shoot. Also: his other Nightmares in Paradise– When making a film like OLD, finding the right shooting location is everything. Hear the story of why Night took the production to the Dominican Republic and how Mother Nature both challenged and helped the production. Shyamalan is aging as well, and the film provided a way for him to explore the passage of time under the guise of one of his typical thrillers. Different age groups will likely react to the film in different ways, as the horror in Old may depend on one’s proximity to it. For those who are feeling the sands of time, this particular beach may be a suitably unpleasant place to visit. improvements over the Blu-ray, itself an impressive example of high definition content. The UHD offerslocation ambience proves very well pronounced and integrated. The listener will always be spatially aware as waves crash onto the sand here and there much real concerns. They soon realize that the beach is somehow aging them, rapidly. There's no recourse; returning the way they came and Old comes with a glorious native 2160p 4K UHD transfer with Dolby Vision / HDR10 in an aspect ratio of 2.39:1 that looks amazingly sharp and beautiful. I’ve reviewed a lot of films lately that seem to be dull and downtrodden. These seem to be virtually void of any color. That’s not the case with Old. The included 4K HEVC image simply sparkles on the beach with bright blue skies, aqua water and everything in between. Of note, this is the first time Shyamalan has shot on film since The Last Airbender. And it shows. It seems to embrace the 4K format quite well. All the usual caveats are in place with amazingly sharp detail (perfect when you see those age lines), HDR and strong colors and contrast. There’s a somewhat claustrophobic feel to the film as Shyamalan shot the film in a way where he panned the beach so the actors never really knew when they were in frame. It’s an interesting approach and one that works particularly well. The included Blu-ray doesn’t exactly look bad either, though given the choice it’s clear (pardon the pun) which one to go for. Audio: How’s it sound? the physical, mental, and emotional transformations that are a result. But the real challenge for these characters, and the audience, is not the
