I haven't read the whole thing yet, but it's a great approach to biblical stories. It's NOT a BIBLE (in the sense that it doesn't contain all the chapters and verses), but a collection of Bible stories (or should I say, Biblical passages) recounted. It's a great addition to a children's Bible and I hope my kids will read it when they get old enough! Jago is an accomplished illustrator with several prestigious awards to his credit, including a Macmillian "Highly Commended" Award for Children's Illustration in 2003, an AOI Silver Award in 2004, and the National Literacy Association Wow!
