MR600 has the band selection in the interface in the beta firmware (and they're still releasing firmware! I believe forcing B3 using huactrl will get you back to the higher speeds, but lower signal level (bars) you had before.

I was having issues connecting to router admin via ethernet connected devices and i couldn't figure out why (connected directly to b535) was in cmd resetting network settings on my PCs, static ips etc. But if you have 5G coverage at home then we’d advise you to spend a little more on the Three 5G Hub, as you’ll get much higher speeds from it. No provider would be advertising speeds that high - I think what you were seeing were the router specifications not the estimated 4G speeds. One of the joys of 4G routers is that they’re usually incredibly easy to set up, as is the case with the Huawei B535 / Huawei HomeFi Plus.Have you tried googling the webUI version and seeing if you can find a firmware update that contains it? I switched to 3 homebroadband it came with the Huawei B535-232 so I installed it, the only place it would work is on the bedroom window sill again so I ran an ethernet cable back to the switch in study it worked ok with 2 bars on the display, achieved 30-40mbs.

So if you’re limited to a 4G signal and don’t want wired broadband, then the Huawei B535 is a top choice. I understand the MR600 beta firmware includes a number of other fixes for issues that probably caused problems for early adopters back in 2019. Plus, the Huawei B535 has four ethernet ports for wired connections, which is more than most rivals, and there are two sockets for connecting an external SMA antenna to improve performance. And this simple setup also means you can take the Huawei B535 with you if you move house, or even potentially if you’re just away for a day or two – as long as there’s a mains socket and Three’s mobile network, you can blanket any area in Wi-Fi. I predomitley use my internet for online gaming so I need a good, reliable connection for obvious reasons.I seem to be in the middle of about 5 towers, which is possibly why I have so many issues, but if you are having similar problems, the analytics on the B535 make it the winner so far - that plus it has a proper bridge mode. The MIMO technology increases capacity especially at the distance ("cell edge") by helping against the multipath effect of high frequencies.
