Description

Stench is one of the main elemental forces in the Kingdom of Loathing. The most prominent inflicters of Stench damage are the Filthy Hippies of the Mysterious Island of Mystery. Though their fight against evil is constant, Skylanders are allowed small vacations to get away from the heat of battle in small groups, as seen in Cynder Confronts the Weather Wizard and when Master Eon allowed them to visit the Meditation Woodland after being invited in Ring of Heroes. Stink Bomb studied martial arts under one of the greatest ninja masters in history who believed that surprise was the key to finding your true self. Thus, his master would constantly jump out and frighten him, hoping that it would scare Stink Bomb into finding his innermost strength. On one such occasion, Stink Bomb was so surprised that he instinctively released a cloud of vapour so pungent that it caused his master to disappear and never return. When collected, his Soul Gem states that his top half's ability is Tri-Star Technique which allows him to throw three stars at a time. This ability is also shown in his trailer video, in actuality his Soul Gem ability only makes his stars have a higher critical hit ratio. It is possible that this upgrade was changed during late development. There have been hundreds of Skylanders in the past, and today, there are dozens, maintaining their role in protecting Skylands from the forces of darkness. Despite the fact that some of the Skylanders come from different realms/worlds and they each have their own personal struggles, they all know it is their duty to use their abilities and protect Skylands.

When swapped with the bottom half of Freeze Blade, it creates Night Blade, which shares a name with a character from the Saints Row Series. Some Skylanders introduced or mentioned in Skylanders Academy are currently not playable in the games. It is unknown if some of them are still on the team. Boom Jet is one of the few Skylanders to have "Boom" in his name (others include Boomer, Sonic Boom, Ka-Boom, Boom Bloom and Shroomboom).

Interestingly, despite the game is suppose to be focused on the Giants, they don't have any unique animations on their stats, neither the new core Skylanders introduced in the game. Fire Kraken's nose is red in-game but yellow in toy form. Also, despite showing his tail coiled up as seen in his artwork, he doesn't bounce with his tail like Rattle Shake could. Instead, he bounces with his feet and legs. The Skylanders are still trapped on Earth, frozen as toys. What an odd way to release a toy-dependent video game. What a delightfully devious way to keep parents, childrens, and non-children fans chomping at the bit for new figures.When Fire Shadow goes into stealth mode, the flames on his baton will remain visible if they had been boosted by his Rising Charge ability. Despite having no new groups to guide them towards their new mission, the Skylanders took the time to chase down both Kaos and the Doom Raiders, as well as helping the leaders they met in person for the first time to get used to the strange new realm in the Shattered Islands. Bunga in The Lion Guard loves this trope. In the Castle episode "The Nose", Castle tries to convince an extremely odor-sensitive woman to leave the filtered-air environment of her apartment to help solve a case. When she insists there's nothing he can do that will ever convince her to leave, he (inaudibly) lets out a fart that drives her out. Batman: The Brave and the Bold: One of Baby Face's minions is Polecat Perkins, so named for his ability to secrete a noxious odor from his armpits.Every time his top half is placed on the Portal of Power, an ancient Japanese flute can be heard playing and then the gong is banged at the end.
