As one of nature’s great soil improvers Poultry Manure is the perfect choice for gardeners looking for an organic, environmentally friendly fertiliser. Raw manure contains the wrong form of Nitrogen. Composting converts most Nitrate Nitrogens into microbial protein and mineralised ammonium which is the most beneficial form of nitrogen for plants as it is readily available for the plant to use, converting the energy into plant growth. Fully composted, pelletized poultry manure avoids many of the inherent but misunderstood problems associated with the use of raw manures. The main issue is that raw manures flood the soil with excessive amounts of nitrate-nitrogen.

It also contains smaller amounts of other vital nutrients. It helps enrich the soil and maintain the soils delicate balance. Mineral Analysis: Here are 6 reasons why you should try fish, blood and bone fertiliser: 1) Gradual-Release but Not Slow-Release Only to be used only where there is a recognised need.
