Here they are, side my side. Aldi’s Mamia to the left and Pampers to the right. They look quite similar here, size-wise at least. What an amazing product. The nappies where as good if not better than the leading brand. They absorb better than Pampers, Morrisons and Asda’s own and never ever leak. My little boy does large wees and these nappies had no problems in keeping the wee inside. Excellent value for money. Comfy and a really good fit. I have tried every nappy on the market on children in the nursery where I work and have always found these to be great. I like the comfort and protection these nappies gave my little boy. Each nappy provided me with the assurance of leak-free nights and a better sleep for baby. The price is also very competitive, compared to other supermarket brands, and much cheaper than Pampers. I hope this product wins because it exceeds all expectations in comfort, protection and price. What are the best features of the Aldi Mamia nappy pants that make them ‘mum friendly'? (i.e: ease of use/leaks/storage etc.

There is absolutely nothing wrong with these nappies so thereabouts nothing I can suggest to improve them. The design, quality, comfort and price are all perfect. As a nursery manager and a mum of two this product is just what I need! Tested by mum Amber Grinker for the M&B Awards 2017: They are easy to pull up and my child can do it themselves. I would certainly recommend the Aldi Mamia nappies to my friends and fellow mums as they are so affordable and excellent quality. They are designed well and have exceeded my expectations of a good quality nappy. They are easy to use and very absorbent for those longer periods of time during the night and my little one never seemed uncomfortable. Reusable nappies have come a long way since terry squares. Poppers, velcro or plastic clips are used instead of pins and they often come as a one-size nappy which will fit for several years. There are a range of colourful and cool designs from brands available too. Reusable nappies are also chemical-free and, long-term, work out cheaper than disposables.

With having a newborn breast fed baby I can go through about 10 nappies a day. Due to the great quality of the nappy I don't need to change this as often. I have no leaking , the absorbency is great especially next to other brands which leaked. Another great thing is this product is relatively inexpsive so makes the affordability of these nappies perfect for me and my baby. We wouldn't change anything about these nappies – we love them! The only downside is the top band makes my baby sweat and often leave his lower tummy warm and a little red from sweating. Maybe the material ay tne top could be more breathable to avoid this? A nice simple design and a nice low price and bar the issue I had overnight, they work perfectly. Amy: This nappy performs well and is reliable which makes life easier when having a baby. It contains even the messiest of nappies meaning no extra clothes are needed. Extra washing is the last thing I need. It looks good and is easy to get on when my child isn’t rolling around like a crocodile. I did find it moved about a lot in comparison to my usual brand but my little one doesn’t like to keep still so that could be the reason.Alice: To use more compostable or biodegradable materials within the product. If the reliability of the nappy was maintained with this incorporated it would be unbeatable. These nappies are the definition of value for money. As a new mother and a new resident in the UK, one easily gets caught up in the lifestyle of expensive prams, car seats, and cots – it’s so hard to know what to believe, so to come across an item that will not break the bank and is excellent quality is rare. These nappies are worth their weight in gold.

What brands of nappy pants do you currently use most often? If you use Mamia, what other brands do you use? Aldi says its nappies have an ultra-dry air system with a fast-absorbing core to keep your baby dry for up to 12 hours. The nappies don’t contain any perfume, lotion or latex and are designed to be soft and breathable with a slim design for free movement. Aldi's nappies are available in sizes one to six, and there are also plus sizes for extra absorbency. Lidl Lupilu Nappies I would most definitely recommend the Mamia nappy to my mummy friends because first and foremost it offers super absorbency, my son can wear his nappy for over 12 hours at night and we've not had any leaks. The fit is really comfortable on my 6 month old, not leaving any marks and not irritating his sensitive skin.Maybe a different design for older kids so they don't feel as babyish as their little sibling in nappies As my son got older he started to wriggle a lot more so when he did this I had to start again put it straight under his bum again it was a nightmare, these was so much easier. The tear away sides make them easy to take off in the morning, without having to take his pj bottoms off. They also make it easy to clear up any accidents. We go with Aldi nappies every time! I used them from newborn to size 6+ with my son, and am now using them again with my daughter. They are great value for money and, in my opinion, are better than some of the more expensive brands.”

Have you used Aldi Mamia nappy pants before? Yes I had used the size 6 nappy pants when my toddler was potty training. Loren: Yes definitely as they are such great value and do exactly what you expect them to do. Considering how active my baby is now, they moved well with her body. They were easy to put on and to dispose of. I am not overly keen on the pattern but that wouldn’t put me off buying them again in the future. Would you choose this product above all others on the market?

I haven’t actually used Aldi Mamia nappy pants before. My go to for my toddler is pampers or huggies pull ups at nighttime. Although convenient and absorbent, disposables have their downsides. Most of them contain bleaching agents, dyes, latex, and other plastics. All nappies are tested before they go on sale, so although the materials are not harmful, if your baby has sensitive skin or allergies, there is a small chance of a reaction to the chemicals they contain. In many cases, swapping to a different brand will help avoid this issue. Alice: This nappy is very easy to use and I have experienced no leaks which is brilliant-less worry and less washing! They last well overnight which is important for the best possible night’s sleep for everyone. Sandra: We will definitely be getting these nappies again. We usually use pampers, which are much more expensive but find that these are not only cheaper but I think that they feel nicer too. The nappy pants have easy tear away sides and all-round stretch, making them as convenient as pants but with the absorbency of a nappy. Flexible leg cuffs also help prevent any leaks.
