The instruments of the suits – Wands, Cups, Swords, and Pentacles actually appear in the cards and the animals are shown interacting with them. On The Lovers tarot card, a snake is coiled around an apple tree on the feminine side. The card speaks about the story of Adam and Eve in the garden of Eden. The snake can be seen to symbolize temptation, sexuality, and choices. I like to refresh what I notice in a Tarot card and to develop my knowledge of symbols and colours.
