Years later and I discover that it was a clone to Paco Rabane's Invictus and I knew I had to get a full bottle of it. So, it’s no coincidence that Paco Rabanne chose a trophy-shaped bottle to contain its original 2013 juice. And after what seems to be a strenuous effort of taming the extracts, the resins and the oils, an effort from which nothing less than a masterpiece should be expected, they give us. This scent is completely different from 1 Million, and yet they share the same quality of smelling like hairspray.

My lady LOVES the smell of the 2014 bottles but is sickened by the scent of the 2021+ bottles; she can always tell the difference, so can I. Like it or not, there is no denying Invictus' monster presence to fragrance users, collector or not, you have either worn it or come across it for good reason. It’s a fragrance that uplifts my mood a bit because I know I smell damn good and I also just enjoy smelling it.I'ts something sweet(not fruitier) in a bad/synthetic way, a kind of aromatic and salty but again in a synthetic style. Very refreshing, and the drydown dulls it enough for this to be a fall scent (really heavy on the patchouli and jasmine).

The packaging is also well-done, with the fragrance coming in a sturdy box that features the same silver and black color scheme as the bottle. I think the opening and the scent after a period of time is the same as the opening and do not change too much. Para mí ha sido un golazo el haber conocido esta fragancia, en primer lugar, porque me encanta su aroma: me brinda esa sensación de frescura, masculinidad, juventud y ultra limpieza gracias a sus aromas cítricos, marinos y salados. Overall, all three of these fragrances share some common elements with the Invictus EDT, but each one has its own distinct character.

This stuff lasts and lasts and lasts, starts off a little scratchy, but does smooth out in the dry down. Vintage bottle performance is massive and the recent bottles performance is still really good but not as good as the vintage. They say Absinthe is a dead ringer for licorice, which probably explains Van Gogh's obsession with the alcohol (if you know how much Dutch love their licorice drops). If you aren't looking for a more mature scent and if you don't hate "generic blue fragrances", if you just want to feel fresh and smell nice, this is for you.

It reminds me a bit of CH's Bad Boy Le Parfum, but this is much, much better (Bad Boy is, IMHO, too cloying and synthetic, like a bad quality candy). Let me put it this way: I was introduced to the Invictus line by my 16 year old nephew and it was love at first scent. It comes with the responsibility of supporting personal projects of sportsmen from all over the world, involving internet users, in its Invictus Award. Interestingly, on a tester strip it smelled less sweet and more green, but on my skin it's the other way around.

También tengamos en cuenta el aspecto fundamental de la variable del PH, que en cada persona es muy distinto el resultado. The whole thing reminds me of some travelling sideshow, blaring about the wonders you'll behold by entering its tent, but all you'll see by doing so, are some miserable fake monsters made of plaster and badly painted.
