Detune – Adds a detuned double of the dry signal with reverb. The blend control adjusts the amount of detune vs. detuned reverb. As in the pedal’s previous incarnation, each mode can be tweaked through five knobs: Effect Selection, Mix, Depth, and two multi-function controls. In addition, external Kill Dry and Trails switches and stereo in/outs that can be used in mono or stereo contribute to make this stompbox also extremely flexible. Over the past few years his company has built a strong reputation for their multi-mode digital effects, in particular for their lush reverb and delay pedals, receiving especially high marks for their shimmer reverbs. Boasting an analogue dry-throughsignal path for low noise and zero latency, the Immerse MkII also sports a high-quality buffer to ensure that your signal remains strong and clear. Stereo outputs also let you take full advantage of the incredible reverbsoffered by the unit, so that you can achieve an ultra-wide wall of soundwhen using two amplifiers. Modes: There’s a lot to go over here but I’ll keep it simple and focus on the more advanced features. Volume (how loud the wet signal is), Depth (how long the wet signal lasts), Type (which of the above reverbs to use), and Tone or Echo Time (Brightness or darkness of the wet signal or delay time of the echo setting). However, Neunaber's flagship W3T reverb mode has been refined too, delivering asmoother and more three-dimensional sound. Now with adjustable pre-delay, it enhances what you play without covering it.While other members of the Neunaber family give you one setting on board that be changed using either a computer or the optional EXP pedal the Immerse Reverberator has much more tweakability on the go. With 8 different reverb options including wet, hall, plate, spring, two types of shimmer, +echo and +detune you have a lot available here. The +detune mode is fun too. You have to crank the level significantly to bring the effect to the fore. But once you do, the almost queasy, pitch-shifting effect becomes a cool melodic tool. The only bummer is that you cannot control the intensity of the pitch shift. The Immerse can do all of this in a box smaller than either of the two reverbs that it has replaced. The shimmer mode on the MK2 is as good if not better than the previous version. That being said, I don’t find myself using it on shimmer all that much. My favourite setting is the W3T algorithm Neaunabers flagship reverb. The main reason I prefer the Immerse over other reverbs that I have tried is the ease of use. The Specular sounded fantastic but was a pain to use. It does have pre sets, but I am more a set and forget kind of person. I don’t need lots of different pre sets, I play in my spare room. I can fiddle with the settings to my hearts desire. Spring – The distinctive twerp of a tube-driven spring reverb. With adjustable modulation speed, it can achieve a vibrato-spring sound. Not to mention that each of these effects also has a control knob that changes use depending on the type of verb. For hall sounds it turns in to a modulate option while on plate it turns in to a pre delay. Don't worry you won't have to memorise this as it is right on the pedal for ease of use.

Now with adjustable modulation speed, it can achieve a vibrato-spring sound. Some pedals give you a lot of options and you feel paralyzed with what to do. Neunaber have hit the perfect point with this pedal. Along with the standard controls that make the reverb sound like it does you also have a 'kill dry' switch to well kill the dry signal as well as a 'trails' switch to set if the effect trails off after you turn it off. Spring is not a type I used much before as they just sounded too digital on other pedals to me. However, Neunaber has made it a prominent tone for me. I’ll move into single coil territory with a tiny bit of dirt while I add a spring reverb on it to create a very vintage tone.An absolute monster of a reverb. Will take you to places you've never played. I've played it for nearly 3 months and it has changed everything for me. Plenty, sounds fantastic, loads of options without being too much, easy to configure, compact, not too power hungry at 80mA. Stereo, top quality parts.
