It joins a lengthening list of phones released this year that you could happily charge only every two days if you were careful with how you used itVarious connectivity options on the Honor 9X Pro include WiFi - Yes Wi-Fi 802.11, ac/b/g/n/n 5GHz, Mobile Hotspot, Bluetooth - Yes v5.0, and 4G (supports Indian bands), 3G, 2G. Sensors on the Honor 9X Pro include Light sensor, Proximity sensor, Accelerometer, Compass, Gyroscope. You can’t really argue with the results for the price, with the Honor 9X Pro punching above its weight in terms of image quality and detail. Sadly though, performance is less stellar to my eyes. Not only does it seem to apply some pretty aggressive beautification settings, even when the settings are pushed to zero, skin tones take on a very light appearance. The 48MP AI photos are with exceptional quality and excellent detail. If you downscale these to 12MP - they are far superior in detail to the regular 12MP snaps. Indeed, if per-pixel quality is of great importance, then you should try this 48MP AI UC mode. But it's one very intriguing smartphone with dazzling looks, powerful hardware, a capable camera, and an instant eye-grabber - an immersive notch-free display. It has lots of RAM and storage, too, and the battery should last you quite long.

Honor 9X Pro is the new mobile from Honor that was launched in India on May 20, 2020 (Official). This mobile is available at a starting price of Rs 17,999 in different color options. The mobile from Honor comes with a 6.59 inches (16.74 cm) display that has a resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels. The mammoth 6.59-inch FHD LCD display is why this phone has such an intimidating size. It’s a lot of real estate for the price, particularly when you consider it comes without a notch or punch-hole. Using LCD instead of OLED helps keep the price down, but does mean you’ll lose out on overall image quality. BTW, I can use all apps perfectly now and of course, I find no differences between using the Google store on the HONOR 9X Pro and other phones. The global version of the Honor 9X Pro isn't that different from the Google-friendly Honor 9X, but it has one tempting advantage - the more powerful Kirin 810 chip.Rear camera: Primary - 48MP, 27mm, f/1.8; PDAF; Ultrawide - 8MP, 13mm, f/2.4; Depth sensor - 2MP. Video recording up to 1080p@30fps. The Honor 9X Pro can record in 1080p resolution with its main and ultra-wide-angle snappers though 60fps mode is available only with the primary camera. There is electronic stabilization and it is always-on. It’s not the brightest we’ve seen, only reaching 370.8cd/m2 in our test. That’s not a disaster in the greater scheme of things, but it does mean you may struggle on a particularly bright day. Still, for the price, this is a very fine display indeed. Honor 9X Pro review: Performance Trying out Asphalt 9: Legends was not as bad as you may think. Sure, there’s a graphical downgrade that makes all the car models look a bit jagged around the edges, but the game still runs smooth and responds to the touch controls without delay. The 9X managed to stay pretty cool during my play session, too, despite the heavy processing that would have been going on. This is the follow up to the rather good Honor 9X. As you might expect, the word Pro means it comes with more processing grunt, with the Kirin 710 processor subbed out for a 2.27GHz octa-core Kirin 810. The 6GB RAM remains the same but there’s also a generous 256GB of internal storage, which itself can be expanded via microSD cards.

These narrow boats show up fairly well, making what was a scene lit only by distant lights on the other side of the canal look like a grim afternoon. However, the Pixel 3a conjures up something that looks like it was taken during a bright day. If you were looking for something that still looked like it was taken at night, maybe the Honor is more to your taste, but I really like how the Google phone was able to show me colors and detail I never would have been able to with my own eyes.

The most phone you can get for your money.

There are obvious weaknesses with the Honor 9X, including a camera that falls flat in low light and just so-so performance.. However, the large notchless display, good battery life and solid camera performance (in normal lighting conditions) make this one of the better Android values we’ve tested. The default 12MP photos from the main camera are sharp and detailed. We observed accurate (if a bit subdued) colors and the dynamic range was always great and we never used HDR. Areas of high complexity such as foliage and building blinds are not as nicely presented and what appears to be overly aggressive noise-reduction process smears some fine detail.
