She has an alternate face, with a fierce expression. I love the subtle details such as her eyebrows, and eyelashes to give the minifigure a bit more of an East Asian-appearance. When you think of Disney princesses, Princess Aurora isn’t the first one that springs to mind. And that’s what makes her inclusion so nice and special. What is clear, though, is that LEGO has a blank slate that they could use however they want. With it being Disney’s 100th Anniversary, the possibilities are endless. Joining Ernesto is the protagonist of Coco – Miguel Rivera, who finds himself in the land of the dead during Día de Los Muertos. Miguel looks great with his red hoodie, and comes with a brown acoustic guitar.

After months of anticipation, we finally have the official reveal of the LEGO Disney 100 Minifigures series, which will be released on 1 May 2023! Do note that boxes can and may vary, so be sure to feel and confirm for the ones you want, especially as sometimes positions may change in transit etc. The good news is that there are 2 complete sets in each box of Disney 100 Minifigures, which is great news for those that want to split a box with a friend, or guarantee a complete set.But what does the teaser poster tell us? Well…not too much, to be honest! It’s pretty sparse, and there’s not too much going on. But what is prominently featured is Tinker Bell’s arm and trademark magic wand. The leader of the band of rogues is Robin Hood, who is a cunning red fox with incredible archery skills, and LEGO have made great use of a new moulded head to bring Robin Hood to life. His trademark green garb is printed really nicely across his body, and I also like his green shoes on his feet. While the Cruella blind bag contains a number of elements, I found her to be one of the more non-descript characters that was a bit harder to identify. She comes double bagged, but so do a number of other characters. The blind bag also contains a dalmatian puppy, but it is inside the second bag and hard to identify. However, Cruella’s hairpiece feels like it has two buns on it. This threw me off because I imagined them being behind the head and I could not think of a character in the series who would come with buns. As it turns out, they are Cruella’s tufted bangs. Finally, the blind bag comes with a 1×1 tile which is rounded on one side and square on the other. It is hard to find, and Baymax also comes with this element, so be careful using it as an identifier.

They are going to have to pull something out of the bag with this one. This should prove to be a fairly easy one for LEGO to produce, as Pinocchio’s torso is pretty bland as far as Disney characters go. Red shorts and a yellow top and waistcoat. FEBRUARY UPDATE: Now that we’ve gotten to see the photo, it looks like Tiana comes with some kind of printed poster accessory. Alongside that, she comes with a tiny, single piece frog that fits nicely into her hand. Dr FacilierHere’s the location and distribution of minifigures in my box. Again, I can’t be 100% sure that my box will be the same as contents may have moved around, but feel free to use this as a guide, and be sure to always confirm by feel if you’re after a specific minifigure. We’re still a few months out here from receiving actual photos on the lineup, but the confirmation of just which iconic characters are making the cut is pretty exciting. We love it when LEGO creates its own version of animal characters, as they often do a fantastic job. We can see them doing a great job here; they need to get that head piece perfectly right. The rest of the minifigure is decent enough, if slightly remarkable. He has a staff, with a purple jewelled topper, and also a printed tile for his tarot cards.

We always love a good animal hero, and Robin Hood is one of the original ones! First seen in his eponymous 1973 movie, the Robin Hood Minifigure is a really nice choice. Overall, it’s a really great and unique minifigure, and I can imagine that the double-arms will be a nice little addition for those that collect minifigures, and want to add a really interesting arm option into their collection. How to find one: Try feeling for Prince John’s bag, which is quite lumpy and has a flat bottom with a recess. His crown and head is also easy to feel for as the crown has easy-to-feel for square notches.I do like the inclusion of the fabric collar, and what LEGO nailed is his shoes, which really makes the minifigure stand out. I know this is a popular character with many people. However, I am rather unexcited about it. I saw Lilo and Stitch once and that was enough for me. I barely remember the film. Plus, we already got a Stitch Minifigure in Disney series 1. With all the characters available in the Disney catalog, a rehash is not the best way to go for the 100th anniversary series. I feel like this wave should be filled with characters we’ve never gotten as Minifigures before. The Evil Queen FEBRUARY UPDATE: This one looks as great as we would have expected! While there were no rumors of any accessories at first, the photo reveals that this Queen of Hearts Minifigure does indeed come with her heart shaped scepter. Hope this helps! This four-armed variant of Stitch is one of the more unique LEGO minifigures in this series with the awesome twin-arm piece, which makes a return after having only shown up once with the Rio Durant minifigure from LEGO Star Wars.The second series of Collectible Disney Minifigures (numbered 71024) came three years later in 2019.
