The S’Cure hardside luggage is made of a new, revolutionary polypropylene material that is called Flowlite.This material is incredibly lightweight, but also very durable. The shell of the suitcase is, therefore, incredibly strong and resistant to pretty much anything. And it is really easy to clean, which is something I always look for in luggage. As I state in every review I do, value is highly subjective and value is only based on what you consider important. The S'Cure Spinner 75 cm is a relatively inexpensive and stable travel companion with plenty of storage space. Its ease of movement compensates for minor flaws. The quality of a leading brand in the travel accessories sector is always evident and the ease of transport combined with a simple design suitable for everyone are confirmed as the strong points of this type of rigid luggage. The main body is constructed using polypropylene rather than the polycarbonate that Samsonite normally use. Although polycarbonate is traditionally considered stronger, polypropylene is still a very strong thermoplastic. It is more than capable of handling bumps, bruises and general mishandling. I actually agree with this design choice, it reduces weight and actually makes it easier to keep clean. Since most linings cannot be removed, they cannot be cleaned to a high standard. Samsonite does offer a lifetime warranty with their cases. I’d be surprised if you need to use this with these tough hard-shell cases. The only negatives I could find involved damage from airlines and scratches. Of course, nobody wants that – though I’d be super-surprised if these Samsonite cases fared any worse than a cheap ‘no brand’ alternative under the circumstances. Wrapping Up: Are the Samsonite S’Cure Spinners Right for You? I will cover the reasons in more details below but to give you a taster of what to expect, here is why this range is different. With a zip closure, there is always a slight concern that a suitcase may either endure damage to the zipper or that thieves could potentially access the suitcase with something as simple as a ball point pen. At a price point close to ‘no brand’ alternatives – you get a case which will last you for years (maybe even decades!).
