As for its longevity, with me it remained between 7 and 8 hours, projecting well for the first hour and a half, then its intensity decreases but it leaves a slight aromatic trace. I only have 2 other Azzaro juices. The OG Chrome & United. Extreme has a similarity to the original in it's freshness and nothing in common with United as that's a more sweet woods and Tonka based elixer. Azzaro managed to take Extreme and put a subtle but, unique twist with the green citrus & marine note on top and the mids yet managed to make the woods & amber work very well and nicely balanced throughout the compositions life. Not groundbreaking and yes, there is a bit of the ambroxan in there but, it's not as prominent or in your face as others. If you want the best from Chrome line up get Chrome Aqua for super fresh tingling citrus burst (sporty vibes) or Extreme for sweet and comforting yet fresh with some depth and earthiness (compliment magnet). Both are great value and worth every penny even at higher price. A lot of comparisons get made to ADG Profondo, but do not get confused, this is not a clone of that fragrance whatsoever. You'll mostly get the similarities far in the drydown and Profondo has a notable saltiness that Chrome Extreme does not. I'm going to try my best to describe what this reminds me of and trust me this is not a dig at the fragrance. I'd say longevity is about 5-6 hrs, maybe more. Sillage is about an arms length. Maybe a little more. However, excellent for the price on the Internet.

For sure it is not "extreme" in any sense. 🙄 It is decent office smell that all will like. If you are into fragrances and you are proud of your collection you can pass that one but if you are looking for wholesome one-do-all-occasions bottle - give it a try. Love it. I usually wear Profumo or or Versace pour Homme, Bulgari Aqua marine, and liked Chrome Aqua a bit as it instantly turned into Hugo Boss Man only not as good imo but I like it. However, and I hate to say it, there’s a caveat. The projection power of Chrome Extreme is misleading; it pops off my skin and clothes very strongly for the first 2 hours, therefore at first I suspected the fragrance would last at least 7 hours on my skin. Sadly it only lasts 5 hours on skin, but thankfully 8 hours into the wearing I can still get wafts off my clothes. I think Chrome Extreme behaves like a strong EDT more than its declared concentration. I am not a big connoisseur of freshly aquatic fragrances, I find most of them very similar to each other, simplistic with overpowering citruses smell but this one is actually surprisingly nice. 😙 In my teenage years I used to wear Axe Phoenix, and this one kind of reminds me of that scent, but a very high quality Axe Phoenix. Don't get me wrong, it's not a synthetic smelling Axe like fragrance; it is a great quality smelling perfume.Chrome Extreme opens with a big blast of citrus and metallic notes. It’s very vibrant, refreshing and has a big push. After 5 minutes the juniper berries and salt join the party, making the scent brighter and adds depth. That’s what makes me sad about this perfume not because of the perfume , because the bad experience I get zero Polo blue vibes, I own Blue EDP, Deep Blue Parfum and love those, and don’t get that comparison (I’ve smelled all the other flankers and same). I also don’t get any Acqua Di Gio Profundo. And, I also think this should be its own line, it’s not Chrome at all in my opinion, and I actually really like the Original, but love this one. It has a fresh and fruity opening, with mandarin citrus. As the minutes go by, the aroma of lavender increases, giving it a very floral and aromatic characteristic, as well as some amber sweetness. In the drying phase a woody base of pine can be perceived, but it never loses the amber fruity presence. Today, I gave it another try, since I bought it and unfortunately, my opinion hasn't changed. One thing I can say about it is, that this fragrance, namely Chrome Extreme is one that I don't like. I used to have all of the Bvlgari Aquas and I can recommend all of them, besides Aqua Amara maybe. Where I live, summers are very hot and humid, so in my environment Aqua Marine works best. I actually really miss it and believe this is a much better option. I had a chance to smell John Varvatos "Artisan Pure" once, and was really impressed about it, so maybe a John Varvatos fragrance could be a good idea. I was also considering a Tommy Bahamas, but have never smelled one of his.

First of all it is not harsh with mentioned citruses, it does not give shower gel vibe. It is mild and semi-sweet scent with some delicate "peppery" feeling during first 30 minutes. Regarding notes pyramid I don't know from where does this "peppery" impression come from but it's pleasant. 👍🏼 Very reminiscent to ADG. Great value at discounter price. Nothing wow but I’ll definitely smell good. Id imagine this one will get some compliments for those who care. This will easily be one of my more frequent reaches. It is amazing. There is a true transition with the top-middle-bass notes, and each one is fantastic. Smell: sweet and fresh. Opens up smelling like melon and cucumber with a bit of orange. Dries down into a fresh aquatic fragrance which has some sharpness similar to YSL Y edp. Has a hint of creaminess but not much, which is a shame. Smells sweet and youthful.I wish it were more in-line with that musky aluminum/metallic/dare-I-say CHROME smell of the original. This is a very deep, rich, woody aquatic. I appreciate the pine note a lot. It's not quite "pine" in the Polo Green tradition, but it's a fresh, wet pine. Chrome EDP is a masculine and very attractive fragrance, easy to use and suitable for different scenarios, casual situations, office work, outings with friends, etc., and due to its fresh characteristics, it is a good option for spring, summer and spring days. fall.

I got this fragrance early on in my journey, and my only regret is that I got a 50ml and not a full size. I love it. Being insanely hot where I live during the summer, freshies often fizzle out early. Not this. This is refreshing, pushes, and has decent longevity for a citrus, summer frag. A great summer and hot weather dumb reach, although I wouldn't wear this to any formal events. Good for casual and work/office environments. Also good for the gym, though it is a bit strong, so I'd go easy on the sprays for indoor situations. When first applied, that zesty, juicy mandarin and almost a hint top note of mint come thru. Beautiful and stunning. Then after a minute, it takes a turn into a bubble gumish area of PR one million territory, but still retains its own identity. I have had Chrome on my sink counter since 1997. I was really sad when the original Chrome lost it's whole staying power; it would be GONE in about an hour. Totally GONE. Now, this is very much a unique fragrance; however, the only thing that came to mind as a comparison was Clinique Happy for men (I’ve compared one other frag as a vibe, but this really reminded me of it). I’ve always loved that one, but it’s linear, seasonal and has terrible performance. ChromeE is to me possibly like if Happy were reimagined, or an Intense version.. and made with better quality ingredients. I almost hate to mention that comparison but felt compelled to. It’s also way more versatile, and has WAY better performance.

Well done, well made. Beautiful and stunning. Oh if they could have just left it at Stage 1. The very short lived, but beautiful STUNNER that burns your nostrils is incredible. Regardless, Chrome Extreme is still a great buy. Honestly think it’s a better offering than ADG Profondo. It starts relatively synthetic with citrus from the green mandarin, which i related to the smell to an unripened mandarin, and slowly mellows out of that sharp synthetic associated with the typical generic freshie. It transitioned from zingy aromatic into this smooth and slightly resinous marine scent which smells quite sophisticated. The juniper retains its sweetness while the cashmere really softens out the edges and the amber gives it a resinous quality while maintaining its sea notes from the top to the drydown.Comparing it with the original Eau de Toilette(EDT) version, it has some similarities, but it has more differences. For example, both are fresh aquatic-style fragrances, but with different nuances, while the EDT is citrusy, metallic and musky, the EDP is citrusy, floral, woody and sweeter. This new version of Chrome is a good addition, as it modernizes the classic version, bringing it closer to current versions of blue fragrances. Comes now the Eau de Parfum (without the odd presentation -- Pure/Aqua/Extreme just weirdly had those words written toward the top of the bottle face). I'm liking it Chrome EdP. It definitely PROJECTS well. Generally speaking, from now on I've decided to only buy better quality, since I usually use two spray max and a bottle of perfume lasts me a long time. On my list is Chanel Paris-Edimbourg and Armani Vetiver d'hiver. The note breakdown pretty much explains the whole experience of this fragrance. I don’t detect any particular notes other than the ones written down. Lots of reviewers compare blue frags to shower gels but I always felt that was a really reductive way of describing things and not really helpful for those trying to get a more in-depth breakdown. So forgive me when I say this literally reminds me of the Swagger blue shower gel from years go (not sure if they still make it). Sure it's synthetic and sure it may not be a unique smell, but you will smell clean in this. Perfect for high heat where sweat can get a little heavy, or for the gym. For the price at discounters I think this is a good price, great value for said price, less polarizing than OG Chrome, and a good performer in high heat.
