Embrace the dark side of the force with this recent Monopoly game that is all about the bad guys. Pewter tokens include Darth Vader, Darth Maul, Kylo Ren, Palpatine, Asaj Ventress and the Grand Inquisitor, and the properties are all replaced by evil allies. This Star Wars Monopoly set uses characters, vehicles, and locations from the original trilogy. The Chance and Community Chest cards are known as Rebel and Imperial cards, while the Jail space is Tatooine. The eagle-eyed amongst you will have spotted that this is the second Monopoly game released in 2015. But, they are very different games and I think this version looks great. In a break with tradition, the board is circular with nice pictures of various planets in the center and big illustrations of a Star Destroyer and Millenium Falcon around the edge. One interesting thing to note about this game – there are no hotels. Instead, houses are replaced by Tie Fighters, and the limit is 5 per property space instead of 4. The tokens are nicely made from metal and are a mix of characters from the different trilogies including Darth Maul, Padme, Han Solo, Luke, Leia, Chewbacca, Darth Vadar, Rey, and Kylo Ren.

I really like the design of the game board for Monopoly Clone Wars, it features loads of different characters beautifully drawn in the center of the board, whilst the spaces around the edge look a lot like classic Monopoly. The gameplay is also very true to the original and will be instantly familiar to many. Some of the Star Wars Monopoly games have rules that are quite different from Classic Monopoly. So, when asking whether you can trade, you need to refer to the rules that come in the box as they are different depending on which version of Star Wars Monopoly you have. Hasbro released this version of the game to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the original Star Wars movie. It’s interesting that the first-ever Star Wars Monopoly game was titled as the ‘Limited Collector’s Edition’. It seems that nobody knew just how many different Star Wars Monopoly versions would follow! Released to coincide with the release of The Phantom Menace, this version of Star Wars Monopoly features beautiful pewter miniature game pieces to represent Anakin Skywalker, Jar Jar Binks, Qui-Gon Jinn, Queen Amidala, Darth Sidious, Battle Droid, Darth Maul, and Sebulba.Item was better than first thought! Detailed figures of main characters, slightly different gameplay to standard monopoly but great fun for all the family. Would recommend to anyone... This version of the game focuses on Han Solo’s adventures throughout the galaxy and was brought out to tie in with the movie ‘Solo’ starring Alden Ehrenreich in the role made famous by Harrison Ford. The game is beautifully designed and the board is very solid and durable. I like the way the deeds fit around the edge of the board. The tokens have a wide base so they don't fall over. This version of Monopoly is a pleasure to play. Another version of Monopoly based (as you might have guessed) on The Mandalorian TV series. This edition adds to the classic Monopoly rules to create a whole new board game experience where you have to protect ‘The Child’ from enemies. If you’re looking for the best Star Wars board games then I’d obviously recommend a Monopoly version. And if you can get your hands on a rare Star Wars Monopoly for sale then you’ve really got a treasure to keep hold of.
