The chassis of the HPI Racing Trophy 3.5 Buggy is also made of aluminum, providing stability and durability during intense races. It features a built-in servo, which enhances the responsiveness of the vehicle to the user's commands. If the body shell of your HPI Trophy 3.5 is broken, ripped or damaged in any way, this can be easily repaired with rubber solution glue. Also, for added protection and if available for your Trophy 3.5 model, fit an under guard to stop dirt and gravel entering the chassis. as for race rollers, it depends who you ask. Losi 8ight's and 8ight 2.0 are most common everywere iv race. Iv owned and raced a losi 8ight, but poersonally it didnt suit me, also losi suffer from the classic losi wobble were everything wobbles lol meaning bits need replacing frequently. Originally we were just for the Trophy 4.6 Truggy, but as the Trophy 3.5 Buggy is so similar, we let them in too!! Long travel suspension and high traction HPI tyres coupled with race inspired geometry ensure the Trophy handles just as well through the corners and rough stuff as it does in straight line drag racing. Power is nothing without control, so dual disc four wheel brakes ensure the Trophy can anchor up in no time at all. The car is your typical 1/8 scale buggy design with 3 gear differentials that can be filled with different diff oils to change the handling of the buggy. This drive train design has also proven to be near built proof over many years.Looking a roto starters and box starters atm and cant make my mind up which one is the better. I like the idea of still having the pull start option still and with going with a roto starter I wont have this option, but the starter box option seems a bit heavy and needs a car battery available. Featuring a fresh new chassis look with orange anodised components, the HPI Trophy buggy looks better than ever! A steel spur gear takes the power from the engine and transmits it through a central differential, which transfers power to the front and rear diffs by long central driveshafts. The front and rear bevel differentials use 4 internal gears for excellent durability over standard 2-gear diffs. The diff outdrives turn tough steel outdrives and axles, and 17mm orange anodized aluminum hex adapters spin the 7-spoke wheels, which are wrapped with Team HB Proto design rubber racing tires. The awesome HPI Trophy buggy has just been refreshed with glitch free 2.4Ghz radio gear and waterproof electronics! The chassis of the Trophy 3.5 buggy is made from 6061 aluminum for an excellent combination of strength and light weight. The low weight allows for faster acceleration, and the durability means you can have the confidence to pull off insane stunts and jumps!

I have had the use of a starterbox to help the break in process ( on the 4th tank atm) but didn't have to use it from tank 3 as she fired up on just the pull start (be it after the 10th, 15th pull) test will be if she fires up again now after 3-4 day break without the starterbox. The Trophy Truggy FLUX is completely painted and assembled for you, fitted with an HPI 2.4GHz radio system and ready for you to add two 2S LiPo batteries! You'll get to experience 14.4 volts of monster power driving 1965KV of brushless power! a 4.6 .28 engine will fit in the trophy with ease. STORAGE

Although pull starts are a pain because they brake often enough, it is the lighest choice. And you can buy 1 or 2 spare pull starts and when they brake, you immediately replace with a good one and repair the bad one for next time. larger the engine normally results in more power, however that power is deturmind by the throttle curve i.e low end, high end... middle ect. Thats determind by the ports. a 3 port will have a massive amount of low end torque, a 7 port will have lots of top end speed and power, were as a 5 port will have more best of both middle end.

Theres also the Associated rc8, Xray 808 hyper 9 ect... again who you ask will give a different response. Iv owned a few associate cars (b44, tc5r to name a few) and tbh that put me off for life, but thats me. The 808 looks stunning but i think its dated to some now, but they released an overhal kit to upgrade it.
