Seraphon armies have primarily been Fangs of Sotek (8 placings), with the remainder being Thunder Lizards builds. The healing ability has been cleaned up a bit, 1 wound healed for killing a model with 4 wounds or less, and 3 for 5 or more wounds. Overall the changes don’t really affect it too much, it will still be preferred as a support unit for your Mortek blobs. It just can scrap alongside them slightly better than it did. Artillery Mortek Crawler Fast forward to third edition where CP became much more like RDP. You got more command points (that also went away at the end of the turn) and generic command abilities became invaluable to the game experience. Games Workshop didn’t see to know how to deal with this problem and tried multiple approaches to hotfix it and none of them really worked. Being denied access to abilities like Redeploy and All Out Defense were absolutely crippling to the army.

Big changes here – the self-proclaimed Supreme Lord of the Undead has been completely rewritten conceptually. Some things have stayed the same, he still casts up to 8 spells that degrades down to 4 through the damage table and he’s still a Warmaster that knows all the spells of the army you take him in, and hand of dust is the same. Everything else has changed. The anti-magic legion. Everything about this legion is dedicated to giving the finger to Enemy wizards. While it may not do a ton outside of that, magic is such a huge part of Age of Sigmar that it’s rare you won’t go up against a list that doesn’t use some magic. Combined arms –Unlike other, sadder undead armies, the Ossiarch Bonereapers can build a force that really feels like an army, blending infantry, cavalry, war machines, monsters and magic to feel like a cohesive whole, rather than having to lean too heavily into one. You’ve got some real power behind those bones, but can also play a horde to be a real pain for your opponent. Options! Bonereapers have a 6+ ward save if their unit has the Hekatos keyword (found on the elite Morghast, Necropolis Stalkers, and Immortis Guard units), or if it is within 6” of such a unit, or within 12” of a Bonereapers Hero.A Textbook Conquest requires that you hold every objective at the end of the game. If you’re doing this, you’ve already won, so why are you worried? It’s also entirely dependent on your event organiser’s choice – are they choosing missions with one, or five objectives? This is just too far out of your control, and too challenging to complete, to be worthwhile. Ward on every unit. In practical terms, same as before since it applied to all units within 12″ of a Hero or with the Hekatos keyword (Which was mostly everything). This streamlines the ability so it works how it basically did anyway. Nadirite Weapons

Every one is a Hero –As mentioned above, every unit gets its own command ability (and access to their own generic list for the whole army). Using the sergeants as the focal point, these command ability like powers allow the units to buff themselves, or each other, to increase their already impressive strength.A bit of Undead catapult shooting to remind you of the Tomb Kings. You’ve got three shooting profiles, all with the potential to inflict ‘Strike Last’ on their target. Sample Ossiarch Bonereapers Army (1000 pts) Trouble empathizing with other, lesser factions. As Ossiarch Bonereapers, you get to ignore a lot of basic rules, meaning if you’re learning AoS you may not understand what other factions do, or their struggles. Over time you will become detached and aloof, unable to connect with the plight of the common battleline infantry mook in these armies, or even their generals. You will sit in your tower, alone save for your undead servants, growing bored with this life and the petty squabbles of its inhabitants, until the only thrill you feel will be from crushing your enemies so utterly that only the sight of their masks of naked contempt turning to terror as you mow them down brings you any joy. At this point, you will have completed your metamorphosis into a true servant of Nagash.
