I have already purchased the third and last book in this series and can't wait to start reading it to see who Belly ultimately ends up with. The scenes and stories that Jenny Han create are beautiful and literally make me smile like an idiot whilst reading them.

This was my favorite show and this book is just so beautiful and enjoyable I love it so much it is my all time favorite book. The second book was super cute; definitely felt like a sequel, not super exciting, but had really nice moments.Belly did get on my nerves a little bit at certain parts but overall I love that she is a real character with flaws. Really thought book 2 was going to be as good as book 1 but I hate to admit,it was not as great and gripping in the end! I will find myself reading the final installment because some sick part of me needs to know who Belly ends up with and in what manner. Read ahead for book spoilers to get an idea of where Belly's story went and how it differed from the show. It was the first summer I would be at home for Justin's party and it was the first summer I wasn't going back to Cousins.

Second-hand embarrassment is not enough as a feeling to describe what I've been through reading this book.star higher than the first book was because apparently Belly was "slightly better" in this book, so I'm just gonna believe my past self and say that THAT is the reason.

I'd never once minded missing out, not even when Taylor told me about the cotton candy machine his parents had rented one year, or the fancy fireworks they shot off over the lake at midnight.Through Jeremiah and Conrad, we learn more about their perspective on Susannah's death, and how the loss impacted their lives and relationship with Belly. I wished for Conrad on every birthday, every shooting star, every lost eyelash, every penny in a fountain was dedicated to the one I loved. The narration is so goof and the story line is amazing overall this series left my jaw on the floor! It’s another relatively short novel, and the overarching dilemma faced by the characters feels a bit weak to me. These two brothers have just lost their mother and are dealing with that grief, so Belly, maybe it shouldn't be all about you just this once.

I don’t see the appeal other than the fantasies she has of his younger self (who she definitely over romanticized). She is annoying to read, and I hate the one-dimensionality of her character again it doesn’t feel believable. This story takes a long time to roll out, being quite a ways into it before it all stops being back story and you actually get to some action. At Susannah's funeral, Belly catches Conrad in his room with another girl, and they have a fight in which Belly tells Conrad to go to hell, and that she hates him. It used to be that Belly counted the days until summer, until she was back at Cousins Beach with Conrad and Jeremiah.

Jeremiah , his gorgeous brother, is still Isabel's best friend - but maybe friendship isn't enough for him anymore . And Jeremiah, his younger brother, is still Belly's best friend - but maybe friendship isn't enough for him anymore. I mean how could anybody not adore this guy especially since in this book we got snippets of his POV allowing us to get know him on a deeper level. I started to say something else, something nice about the dress, but suddenly I felt ice-cold aluminum sticking to the back of my neck.
