A good amount of bass presence is provided in the low-end, featuring some smooth subs and an extended mid-bass. Overall the timbre here is pretty dark but mostly clean in its texture. I got the feel of the bass without it clouding other ranges of frequency in muddiness. There are some enticing qualities here, but the UX3000 skips out on impact for me. It instead opts for subtle resonances that provide a significant lift to the bass that make its response engaging. Soft vibrations emanate from the lows but do not pulsate, instead of reproducing a more natural output of frequency information while retaining light coloration. Mids We, however, would like to create earphones and headphones that people have an affinity for and continue to use in much the same way they have with a mechanical wristwatch, the kind that will be valued as an antique in the future. I have been a self described audiophile (according to Steve Guttenbergs definition) since 2012 and I am also a sound engineer. I am very sensitive to headband pressure and I experience no discomfort from the headband even after 6 hours of wearing. The only other headphones I experience this with are the Sennheiser HD 650 where I only start to feel discomfort after 3 or 4 hours of listening.

Battery life is quoted at 25 hours with active noise-cancellation switched on, or 35 hours with ANC switched off. The UX3000 can go from ‘flat’ to ‘full’ in around 150 minutes when charging, and they use USB-C.

The Final UX3000 do not look overly unique they are made of plastic with small ear cups with faux leather padding but use a coating called shibro which protects the outside of the earcups from getting dirty. I have been using them for the last few weeks now and they are comfortable for short periods of time, however, the band did feel a little tight and the result was a little ear fatigue, especially after a long period of use.In addition to SBC and AAC, UX3000 supports aptX Low Latency, a low-latency codec that delivers high-quality sound with minimal interruptions and time delay. This allows you to enjoy music, games and videos with ease. And with multi-point connectivity, you can connect up to two devices at the same time, such as your PC and smartphone, and switch between them while they're connected. Features When you consider the mids they do tend to get a little lost every now again but not to the degree they become overwhelmed by the lows and highs. You will also notice some of the fundamental midrange section is missing but the low-mids are emphasized along with some upper-midrange clarity. And onto the noise-cancelling performance, which is respectable. At this price point it would be much to ask for the performance of the Sony WH-1000XM5, which are thrice the price of the UX3000. Nevertheless, the ANC performance is astute, good at clearing away persistent sounds. With noise cancelling on, it becomes much easier to hear music than with it off. Audio brand Final are a brand I have only had limited experience with and have only reviewed the Final VR3000 gaming earbuds. So when I got the chance to review the Final Audio UX3000 overhead headphones their first over-ear headphones I jumped at the chance.

When I first started listening to the UX3000 I got the sense that there was some significant recession within certain midrange frequency bands. While the response here isn’t everything you’d hope for, I still think it has more to show over other v-shaped headphones. Some of that fundamental midrange section is noticeably missing here, but low-mids are emphasized, along with some upper-midrange clarity. There are just parts of instrumentals that feel a little too hollow for my taste, but some elements do shine. For example, certain orchestral sections, specifically in the lower-midrange, show some considerable presence, as well as more high-range vocal performances. Highs Norah Jones’ voice in Don’t Know Why is tremendously expressive in tone, given lots of space, capturing the changes in the cadence of her voice with an acute sense of dynamism. The rich and warmth the Final offer makes for a smooth performance, instruments described in a natural tone, brightness of higher frequencies expressed brightly and with weightiness to the bass. The Final UX3000 show themselves to be a sparkling, nuanced performer at this price. This feature let the user to enjoy their music in a quiet space by cancelling out the noise of trains, planes, cars and other household noises.

Final claims its noise-cancelling tech uses "hybrid noise cancellation methodology". This amounts to a new driver which is designed to withstand the stresses put on it by noise-cancelling tech. Its higher frequencies are also applied with a slight correction through the equaliser, resulting in "good noise canceling performance and exceptional sound quality even for audiophiles".

As you might expect when you switch on the ANC it will change the overall sound profile.
