It was Miyake’s cynicism about the fashion industry, in particular the speed at which it produced, that gave his designs such longevity in reputation and design. With a name like the sport we're clearly not going to get something original or ground breaking but that's ok. He was born in Hiroshima, the son of an army officer and a teacher, and evacuated to a nearby small town during the second world war. This sporty series is just like any other fresh fragrance, people who endure sport and outdoor activity.

In a rare 2009 op-ed for the New York Times, Miyake recounted just how much that day, and his mother’s subsequent death, informed his creativity.

It start with a green spiky citrus scent, awakening the energy hidden inside you, minutes later, it turn to very light nutmeg with very little hints of leather scent that smell very unique, sort of relax and calm your nerve down. His regular collections of sculptured, high-end clothes were spectacular, but the real fun came with a change of focus to volume production ready-to-wear lines through the 1990s. I highly recommend this to men who are in sporty field or heading to the gym, some of men aren't blessed to have a good natural musky aroma but this perfume sure saves the day and makes your sweat become drops of sexiness that sure seems like it came off from pours of a greek god.

After the Original- L'Eau Dissey, I had this twice and both times, found it to be kind of revitalizing juice that freshens you up. This is a spring and summer scent, something solid for the gym bag like many have mentioned, Someone's first fragrance for high school going beyond body sprays or just a daytime scent to get work done. It reminds me like Egoist Platinum but a lot more sporty and its a very fresh,bold and elegantly manly fragrance that wont vanish within 10 seconds like modern male fragrance tend to do. I can see myself wearing this with jeans, suede boots and untucked rolled up long sleeve shirt on a summer day.Admittedly it's nothing out of the ordinary, being a rather basic citrus scent with a drydown of vetiver and Virginian cedar. The citrus opening is refreshing and is soon joined by the cedar and sandalwood, creating a more 'sophisticated' sport fragrance. I would probably also avoid this on hot days - seems best suited for springtime and summer nights, even fall.
