Meanwhile, the band have recently been touring in support of their acclaimed 2022 album Autofiction. Speaking to NME last year, Anderson revealed that the band were already at work on their next album. Whilst performing Autofiction in front of tens of thousands of fans at an entirely sold-out and rapturously received UK tour, Suede marked 30 years to the day since the release of their self-titled debut album with a very special surprise set. Fast forward to February 1992, and the band were signed to the independent record label, Nude. Hailed by the press “as the next big thing”, they released their first single, ‘The Drowners’, in May that year. The band were fast on their way to becoming one of Britain’s best-beloved bands. Suede’s self-titled debut album from 1993 will be reissued in July for its 30th anniversary and formats will include an SDE-exclusive blu-ray with Steven Wilson Dolby Atmos and 5.1 mixes.

Due on 7 July 2023, fans can look forward to special limited edition 30th anniversary releases, newly mixed and mastered presenting the band’s classic self-titled debut album in the best sounding way possible in 2023.Speaking to NME last year, Anderson revealed that the band were already at work on their next album. He added: “I’d love to think that our most daring work is ahead of us. That’s a really exciting prospect – that a band at our stage of our career haven’t just settled for running through the motions. The picture disc LP (limited to 1030 copies worldwide) will feature reimagined exclusive artwork by Paul Khera, along with an exclusive picture disc featuring Anderson’s lyrics housed in a deluxe gatefold sleeve featuring gold foil detailing, and a classic Kevin Cummins photograph across the centrefold.
