And wow, this one was a hell of a lot darker than the previous ones in the series. They were all funny and slightly absurd but this one was definitely a little bit more grown up. It felt a little bit like some of of the books that Horowitz writes for older teens rather than for younger kids. Still there were moments of levity and Tim is still an absolutely useless older brother but yeah, definitely a lot darker than I was expecting it to be.
