Colour Cup: Shown above the Cult of Paint airbrush has a colour cap attaches. This is for using only the most minute amount of paint. as stated above, the set also comes with a 5mm colour cup. (honestly, I feel these are both, too small and too large respectively). The CRplus comes with the 3mm colour cup as standard which is just right. One of the features, that I particularly like about the airbrush, is the micro air control valve. There’s basically a small screw at the bottom of the body, which allows you to fine-tune the air pressure. If that’s not clear, the best analogy I can make here is; You know when you’re on your phone and you’re scrolling through a video or moving a cursor across some text. You’ll find you have more accurate control if you then slide your finger down the screen and drag somewhat diagonally rather than straight across. These nozzles are usually tiny and must be screwed onto the airbrush. I have to say I am not a huge fan of these. Tighten it too much and you can damage the nozzle or make it sit off-center hampering the atomization and the spray pattern of the paint. Making it too loose comes with other problems as well. then points out that the front of the airbrush is shorter so as to get closer to the model ( OK a personal choice and painting preference; I'll give him that one).

If you are new to airbrushing then the number of parts below may scare you – to be fair, this is actually quite conservative when compared to other brands. Aluminium Body: Impossible to see in the image (as they are both covered in either chrome or paint), but the front housing on the Cult of Paint airbrush is made from aluminium which is far lighter than the CRplus. The nozzles are self-centering. They don’t have to be screwed in, like on some other airbrushes, and therefore, you don’t have to use any mini spanners to remove the nozzle for cleaning.This thing has a really strange name just like many other Gunze/GSI products (I will never forget the typo –“Mr.Retarded – Mild”– which I’ve seen in one online store). But – it is, in fact, one of the best airbrushes for fine detail work you can possibly get. The nozzle is of the self-centering type. Just drop it in, screw on the nozzle cap and you are ready to go. No need to mess around with the fine spanner worrying about damaging the nozzle. But the fact is that this is only half of the equation. it’s also the taper of the needle which defines how wide or fine your spray is. The airbrush is equipped with a 9ml (1/3oz) paint cup, that’s non-removable. It’s perhaps slightly too large for most model building needs, but it’s not a big deal. There’s however another version of this brush, which comes with a smaller cup, but that one is maybe too small. I know, I am not easy to please.

If that’s still too expensive for you still, a more entry-level version is the Cult of Paint Evolution airbrush. the Evolution is the brush Squidmar used and had etched in gold recently. Almost all cheap airbrushes come with this type of nozzle. But mind you, even some of the most expensive Iwata airbrushes utilize these as well. But of course, they are much better engineered. Self-centering nozzles The airbrush is equipped with a 0.35mm nozzle that provides great flexibility. It can be used for detailed work as well as for situations that require wider coverage. For extremely fine details, it’s not as good as the H&S 0.15mm airbrushes or the Iwata’s own Custom Microns though. he clearly states that the new trigger design is an "improvement on precision" but this is only "20% of his total design improvements!" ( so much for H&S offering "intelligent functions and ergonomic excellence" then!)The only con of this tool is its price. But quality always cost more. Overall I am very impressed by the work, look and feel of this very well balanced airbrush and can recommend it to everyone. If you don’t have enough finances for this guy I would recommend Evolution 2 in1 as it’s almost exact copy of infinity (or the other way around) except for few details that gives Inifnity the right to carry its name. Where this lip helps is that it allows you to exert some of your extra force horizontally without affecting the needle retraction. Airbrushes come in two basic types. An airbrush can either single or double action. The difference lies in the paint delivery mechanism. Single-Action Airbrush The Infinity 2 in 1 airbrush is designed specifically for fine detail work. With the same attributes as the Infinity Solo but with the additional 0.4mm nozzle and larger paint cup.

Needle/Nozzle: ok, ignore the image above here. the nose on the Crplus I’ve shown is actually from my Evolution Airbrush and I swapped it out to get me out of a jam. The actual nose is identical on both units. However. The size of the nozzle of your airbrush will determine how much paint is going to get through at the same time. This will also reflect in the width of the spray area. The airbrush comes ready for various configurations. even the needle guard has the optional (compression-fit_ crown cap) Using a needle designed to provide pinpoint accuracy all the way up to a wide base coating aperture makes it a versatile tool for every type of airbrushing job you do.This type comes with a paint jar that’s affixed to the bottom of the airbrush’s body and the paint is then siphoned through a small tube toward the mixing chamber. Compared to gravity airbrushes, siphon-fed airbrushes often come with much larger paint cups or bottles allowing you to cover larger areas without having to refill. Side-Fed Airbrush
