I am an intermittent user and pretty sure the weight won't be an issue, so will investigate the cordless guns. Eventually I sent it back and it must have been faulty as the retailer sent it back to Hitachi for repair.The tool does the job easily and the depth can be adjusted, which is great for different applications. I have a Hitachi NR90GC2 nailer that doesn't get used a lot, probably less than 5000 nails in total but it's now stopped working. Brushless motors are much-heralded and with good reason, especially when it comes to nailers; you need powerful power tools that are durable and efficient without compromising on performance, which the NT1850DE and NT1865DM excel at.

The HiKOKI (formerly known as Hitachi) NR90GC2/J8 cordless gas nail gun is a fantastic alternative to the Paslode IM350 nailgun.
