In the glass, the Prosecco Spumante di Valdobbiadene Extra Dry from La Gioiosa offers a brilliantly shimmering platinum yellow color. Every vintage page from the most recent to the oldest has detailed charts showing production by region and the most popular, best, most expensive and cheapest wines of the vintage currently listed. The finest vineyard sites lie on the southern side of the hills, on sunny south-facing slopes whose gentle gradient and loose soils offer excellent drainage.

Upon reaching the required alcohol and sugar content fermentation is stopped by refrigeration, the wine is settled and then bottled. The bouquet of this sparkling wine from Veneto seduces with nuances of honeydew melon, ripe apple and acacia. Only first-class grapes were used for this wonderfully elegant single-varietal wine from La Gioiosa. Drink this Prosecco Spumante from Italy ideally very well chilled at 5 - 7°C as an accompaniment to leek soup, pumpkin casserole or cabbage roulades.

Our bins hold 18-24 bottles of wine or Champagne or 2-3 cases of lager when filled with ice and water. The Prosecco Spumante di Valdobbiadene Extra Dry can rightly be described as particularly fruity and velvety, as it has been vinified with a wonderfully sweet taste profile. Finally, this wine from the Veneto wine-growing region delights with its exceptional length on the finish.It is the perfect accompaniment to a potato pan with salmon, pumpkin casserole or pear and lime strudel. The dry, fresh and flavoursome sensation on the palate is followed by a fruity and harmonious aftertaste. Pleasant and elegant flowery flavour reminiscent of acacia flowers, fresh, dry and smooth on the palate, an agreeably fruity and harmonious finish. La Gioiosa Prosecco Spumante Brut Treviso then matures in the bottle for several months before being disgorged. Its name pays tribute to the old definition of the province of Treviso, "Marca Gioiosa et Amorosa" (Joyous and Amorous March) underlining the sociable lifestyle of its inhabitants.

This prosecco had love fresh and fruity notes to it, and taste wise was light but interesting and had a slight pear taste for me. Once the final Prosecco Spumante has been blended, it is aged further using the Méthode Traditionelle.

There were a nice amount of bubbles, not overpowering and smooth on the palate so as I said was a nice light drink, and so easy to drink. On the tongue, this light-footed Prosecco Spumante is characterized by an incredibly dense and melting texture. La Gioiosa represents the tradition of viticulture that belongs to the Moretti Polegato family for generations and is in perfect symbiosis with the wines of the Prosecco, Montello, and Colli Asolani lands. I noticed they are from Treviso in Italy, and I have visited Treviso many times when I used to visit Italy so it brought back many nice memories for me.
