this is kind of like a pre- black swan book, where there is a highly driven female character who should really have everything go right for her, based on how much time and effort she puts into being the best. In this five-part series, US happiness expert and positive psychologist Michelle Gielan and British journalist and author Oliver Burkeman explore ways to become truly happier, backed up by scientific evidence.It may have been even more powerful if the author would have switched perceptions/stories from Kate to Teri after the catalyst happened, but this is still a very powerful book. I liked being surprised that the little boy was actually the son (not the brother that we expected) of the female bully. Whether examining medicine, politics, or other areas, evidence that was supposed to change minds didn’t always work.
Jaxon makes for an incredibly compelling MMC, and Natalie, in all her innocence, gives off an incredible strength. I liked this chapter a lot as being data driven is a hot topic in many companies yet many people struggle to drive this change. In September, Catalyst will launch the new look paperback of Nick Grimshaw’s Soft Lad, along with the memoir from "Strictly Come Dancing" star Johannes Radebe, Jojo: Finally Home.
I really recommend it, as it was a satisfying end to Tom’s story – and also if you haven’t picked up the trilogy at all… whhhyyy not?
