Description

Lake, pond, river and ocean water are a bit more blue. In a mountainous region like Skyrim, water should be fairly cold. Colder water limits the growth of freshwater algae and other plant particles, which tends to give water its greenish hue. Ocean and river water are now bluest followed by lake, pond then marsh water. Keep in mind this mod was balanced with vanilla lighting so other lighting mods will affect the color. Meshes overhauled to use new gradient effects for finer control over different mesh effects (tint, saturation, etc.) without the need to edit the meshes. (v3 - v3.0.4) Carried forward edits from the DLCs, bug fixes from the Unofficial Patches, mesh improvements from SMIM and the Skyrim Particle/Subsurface Scattering Patch. Let this mod overwrite everything--including other HD texture mods. Fixed vanilla transparency issues on fxsplashsmallparticleslong.nif so that it no longer looks like there's a perfectly sharp hole cut into the foam. Also raised the splashes so they don't clip under the water surface. (v3 - v3.0.4) Adjusted the position of a couple water assets within Whiterun that were out of place with the new mesh edits

Patches between mods, watercolor mods, and gradient mods require no permissions. Create and upload as you see fit. Fixed a water seam at the Solitude harbor/marsh transition location, at the Ivarstead river and at the Wyrmstooth river. Updated a bunch of effect textures to reduce brightness, improve transparency and to add more clarity. A big shoutout to TechAngel85 who made most of the painstakingly tedious edits and tweaks in this update. We all appreciate it!

Fixed a bug on "fxcreekflatlarge.nif" where most of the water currents were accidentally disabled. (v3 - v3.0.4) Small "fake water" rapids and the foamy streams in Whiterun and Markarth have been sped up animation-wise.

Reduced brightness of 'fxwatertile01.dds' by 25% to further help prevent over-brightness in effects The patches from the Patch Hub have been reincorporated into the main mod. The Hub has been shut down and all future patches will be available via the FOMOD installer. Other changes include: Cleaned up the shallows for all waters a bit more, which means shallows will be a bit clearer. (v3 - v3.0.4) Water surface normals for ENB's water parallax and displacement features are now available for all resolution sizes. They have been further adjusted from 0.2. Extended Ambiance files were accidentally included in the Core files. They only exist in the Optional install now. (v3.1.1)

Fixed an additional 7 Larger Reference Bugs, as reported by the latest DynDOLOD v3 log, by moving them into the ESM: In addition, I've gone through almost every interior and exterior cell with water and made cell edits when appropriate to allow unique water types for the four major bodies of water in Skyrim: oceans, lakes, rivers and marshes/ponds. Without cell edits, lakes and ponds would share the same texture and settings as the ocean. I've also used cell edits to correct the flow of rivers if possible. Regardless, I had already attempted to craft river water in such a way that multiple flow directions could be interpreted depending on the angle of view.

Updated river texture to smooth out the roughness of the texture, which brings the look closer to that of previous versions of RWT. In short, it looks a bit more river-like. (v3 - v3.0.4)Incorporated the fix for culling data, which fixes some distance water cells not rendering. Credit to "Hexaae/rolloLG" for the original fix.
