If you’ve watched it before then you know what to expect and if not then give it a go and enter the stomach-turning world of Crapston Villas. It featured a set of characters, living in a grim apartment building in the fictional postcode of SE69, who were plagued by various dilemmas. In the USA five episodes from Series 1 were released on DVD by the independent production/distribution company Troma Entertainment, but so far no DVD releases of either series have occurred in the UK.

The characters on the screen are vile and the stuff coming out of their mouths is pretty gross for the time. The residents were all typical stereotypes and inner-city clichés amplified to the very worst of their traits. All three seasons are available to stream on All4 as well so even better, you can watch them for free. The humour was, perhaps, somewhat childish and crude but there’s nothing wrong with that in our book. Crapston Villas was a British animated television series, in which the characters were made from plasticine and filmed with stop motion clay animation.

We’ve re-watched all three seasons recently and they really are still hilariously vulgar in the best way. Flossie, their lodger who’s a clueless bimbo and wannabe actress whose boobs are always falling out. Series 1 was subsequently issued on video, edited together as a single 100 minute piece ("Crapston Villas – City of Slummington"), while Series 2 was similarly released, but on two videos ("Health Hazard" and "Culture Shock"). A black-comedy satire based in London suburbs: an extreme and lowlife group of characters, living in a grim apartment building in the fictional postcode of SE69, who were plagued by various .

Closed captions refer to subtitles in available languages with the addition of relevant non-dialogue information. Crapston villas is a very funny, clamation series, which is a cross between "Wallace and Grommit" and "Gogs". The show was cancelled after its second series by the incoming new head of Channel 4 Television, Michael Jackson, who then bought US import South Park to fill the late Friday night slot vacated by Crapston Villas.In every episode they would have to overcome various dilemmas such as finding a lodger, infidelity, losing your drugs, squatters or being mugged. Sam, his kid sister who’s always pranking people in ways that the police and social services would need to know about. You had Jane Horrocks, Morwenna Banks, Felix Dexter, Alistair MacGowan, John Thomson, and Alison Steadman among others.
