While the flavoring might be mild, it still delivers that alcoholic punch it promises. For a fusion of East meets West, substitute the vermouth in a Martini, and you’ll end up with a Strawberry Martini. This one is one of my favorites, and it smells a bit like sour peach and grape candy at the same time. You can’t really describe it unless you’ve stated it before. The smell isn’t too strong, and if you’ve ever had Chinese cough medicine, yes, this smells a bit like that. If you strain out the dried herbs, you would get a smooth drink but probably wouldn’t taste much of them since they wouldn’t have time to infuse into the liquid

The green apple is pretty good and tastes like candy. If you ever had those sweet and sour candies, yes, that’s exactly this but without the sourness. This is also one of my favorites, and these ones are great for mixing with other drinks. This is a good drink for those that like to play mixologist at home or when entertaining friends. It’s simple yet complex blending all the sweetness of Soju with the refreshing flavors of ginger, basil and strawberry. Cover the Boston shaker securely and shake for 30 seconds or until the outside of the shaker is freezing cold to the touch. Carefully open the shaker. In a freezer-safe plastic bag, combine the whole milk and sweetened condensed milk. Mix until fully combined. Then, double bag the mixture to keep it from leaking. Place the mixture flat in the freeze. Let freeze for at least four hours or overnight. Major firms, including Jinro, Lotte, and Hite-Jinro, now produce Soju. Jinro is the industry leader, accounting for more than half of the Korean Soju market. Lotte and Hite-Jinro are two more well-known manufacturers.

Strawberry soju is most commonly drunk neat. With Korea’s drinkers tending to drink soju in shots, served chilled and poured straight into a shot glass, this is no exception. I personally like using the original (aka plain) flavor, since the others are sweetened and artificially flavored, which you don’t need when you plan on adding other ingredients to your drink. However, for a milder taste, we recommend using equal parts of the alcohol and Yakult. To tone down the alcohol flavour, you can use a 2:2:1 ratio.

Watermelons and summer go together, and watermelon-flavored Soju might be our favorite summer drink due to its juicy and sweet taste. When natural watermelon flavor gets introduced and blended with natural Soju, you end up with a refreshing drink that’s bound to get any party started! If you don’t want to use lemon lime soda though, soda water, tonic or champagne could all be good options if you want to keep the sweetness on the conservative side (one of the few times I will ever use that descriptor). You can prepare the drink in advance and store it in the fridge. We suggest keeping it in a jug or a bottle for convenience. Once you're ready to enjoy it, pour it into a glass and add some ice before serving. Bigger Serving Normal people that have an office jobs drink almost every weekend. They always get drunk because it’s a way of relaxing. If you’re ever going to visit Korea and go out on a Friday night, you’ll see many office workers drinking soju together. ConclusionThis is a newer favorite among Koreans and provides a fusion of this classic Caribbean rum drink with all the glory of Soju. Plus, this recipe is versatile and adjustable to whichever citrus you like best. Don’t be fooled though, the alcoholic hit afterwards is still as potent as any other fruit-flavored soju bottle.
