Naoko Takeuchi (武内 直子, Takeuchi Naoko) born March 15, 1967, a manga artist (mangaka), lives in Tokyo, Japan. Takeuchi's works have a wide following among anime/manga fans. She has become a well-known mangaka worldwide. Her most popular work, Sailor Moon, rose to become one of the most recognized manga/anime figures to date. The eternal edition will be published in Germany this year. Because one book is about 25 Euro (28 dollar) I asked myself if I really should spend this much money for just one volume. Does this edition contain new pictures (I mean the coloured ones) or are they identical to the pictures already being published many ago in the Sailor Moon Artbooks? Kodansha themselves re-released this edition in English starting September 13, 2011 under the new title "Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon" like the Japanese re-release [2]. In 1999, after the series was completed, it was released through the Materials Collection Artbook.It's hard to read and rate this manga as it is something very nostalgic for me personally. I loved Sailor Moon the show and books growing up as a young girl. I had a fan club with my friends in middle school and it has always been something I enjoyed. I will say I find it amazing Tekeuchi here created something so simple but ingenious. I want to maybe make a video of it since it's so smart. Taking the Shojo ideas, romance, very sexy men, and a bit of spunky comedy and mix it with battle Shonen and some slight mystery/horror vibes. Simple, easy, and it's SO good. Too bad I already have the 2011 editions (not to mention most of the original ones too). Seems like bit of a scam to me, releasing these so soon after the 2011 ones (which wrapped up, what 2015?)
