The deep and complex lore, and wide variety of factions, is where a lot of Warhammer 40,000’s appeal lies, and the 10th Edition continues this tradition by bolstering the existing factions with exciting additions and updates, such as the Titan war machines, who can now support Imperium units much more easily through the Titanicus Support rule. The boxed set contains approximately 1000 points for each side, making it perfect for adding to exsting collections, or providing a solid foundation to build up new armies from. These valiant defenders stand firm, resolute in their battle against the relentless onslaught unleashed by Hive Fleet Leviathan. Among the horrors they face are a ferocious Winged Tyranid Prime, a mind-altering Neurotyrant accompanied by its two Neuroloid minions, three agile Von Ryan's Leapers, a formidable Psychophage, a swarm consisting of 20 Termagants and two Ripper Swarms, 11 deadly Neurogaunts, five Barbgaunts, and a fearsome reimagining of the iconic Screamer-Killer. With so many details – such as the intricate grooves on his armour and all the aforementioned runes and wizard-y bits, this guy will be a real delight for painters – a challenge, sure, but get this one right and he’ll look spectacular. New 10th Edition 40k Tyranids Miniatures:

These tougher-than-tough Space Marines have been in dire need of a new kit for several years now, and Leviathan delivers them with a great deal of class. Similar in some ways to the popular Bladeguard Veterans, the new Sternguard take everything that was cool about the original Sternguard Veterans and brings them into the 2020s – with a few obvious homages to their original sculpts. So, the important thing to consider is what you want from the Tenth Edition releases, and how much are you willing to spend. If you like the look of Leviathan but aren’t sure you can justify the cost, or don’t know how to play Warhammer 40,000, perhaps consider waiting to see if Games Workshop do some Tenth Edition Starter Sets (which, as we said, the odds suggest they probably will).
