I want to thank Netgalley and the author for gifting me the ebook. I was able to find the audio version through my local library. I really enjoyed this novel. I have been tired if listening about war novels that talk about seeing blood shed and in the middle of it. Even though I enjoy those books they get depressing. I really enjoyed this novel because it is about group of women who live in a small town and even though they talk about the war it is more about what they are doing as neighbors etc. Areas where fewer than ten killings took place – for example, the Market – are grouped together under “Others.” Finally, some casualties, either already dead or fatally injured, were carried into hospital and it is unclear from press reports where they had been wounded – these are treated as “Unknown.” Bedroom Two/Dining Room - 3.68m x 2.46m (12'1" x 8'1") - Full height double glazed windows overlooking Weaver Street with views towards the city skyline, ceiling light point, wall mounted electric heater, and wood strip flooring.

Little doubt surrounds the membership of the remaining five IRA members killed: two were victims of the RIC “murder gang”, Seán Gaynor, killed on 26 th September 1920 and Dan Duffin, killed on 23 rd April 1921, both listed on the Co. In Welcome to Weaver Street the characters are colourful, friendly and credible and I can't wait to get to know the other residents more.

When he goes into the navy, she finds an inner strength to keep going. I loved the friendships she made with the other girls at work and in Weaver Street, who each have their own worries and problems to work out. I especially warmed to Beth, who initially used to sneak out of her house to visit Kitty only when her father wouldn’t find out. But Kitty gave her the motivation to stand up to her father a bit more and to control her own life. All the female characters are particularly well written. In July 1916 Kitty and Tom Conlon, newly married, arrive in Liverpool to take possession of a house, left to Tom by an old uncle. They are also glad to escape all the troubles in Dublin brought on by the Easter Rising. World War I is also raging at the time. Kitty is determined to make the house a nice home for them and has dreams of a family. Tom is ambitious and tries to shake off his 'Irishness' which doesn't sit well with Kitty.The Size of the property is 3750 square ft. It was constructed in 1993, age of the property is 29 years.
